To-Do #106 Weekly Update

This is our 106th edition of our weekly to-do list.  We share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts and at Becca’s What I Made Monday website on Mondays, and Christine’s Stitch All the Things website on Tuesdays.  Check out what our friends are sharing!

To-Do for the week of April 15th through 21st:

  1. Finish up the Bee Hive April blocks – not done
  2. Baby Batik Dark quilt top together – not done
  3. Appliqué another umbrella or two – √ done

We hope you had a Happy Easter or Passover to those who celebrate

To-Do #1

The Ripple blocks need to be made and sent to Jen by the end of the month.  I was overly optimistic thinking we would get a lot of sewing accomplished this past week.  We went out of town for the holiday.  Good thing there is one full week left in the month!  I promise we’ll get them in the mail this upcoming week.

To-Do #2

The nine-patch blocks are all complete and are hanging out on the design wall.  It doesn’t look any different from last week since it was given no attention other than being admired as I walked past it!

To-Do #3

The appliqué umbrella blocks are all finished as are the raindrops in the colorful pieced border.  Here’s a little sneak peek of a portion of the border.  Next week should allow for the quilting to be all complete.  I hope!

To-Do for the week of April 22nd through 28th

  1. Finish up the Bee Ripple blocks for Jen
  2. Get the Baby Batik Dark quilt top all together for Sue
  3. Quilt and bind the April Showers table runner

I hope the week worked perfectly for quilting umbrella blocks and raindrop borders! I’m glad you went away and took a break. Sometimes it’s the best thing we can do to keep making progress.

I love your lists. I make lists in my head. Sometimes it helps to make a physical list, sometimes it makes me go, ooooh so much to do! I like reading your lists!

Hello Roseanne, I do hope that you had a wonderful time out of town for the holiday. It is always nice to go somewhere and just leave everything behind for a few days or even sometimes for a few hours and then return home refreshed and ready to do everything again with new attitude. I do hope that you and Sue both have a fantastic week accomplishing your goals. Thank you for sharing and have a marvelous day!

There is never enough hours in the day it seems and sometimes not enough days in the week 🙂 I hope this week has more sewing in it for all of us. It looks like you have been appliqueing your heart out though <3

  6. Funny how being away never allows for much quilting – unless it is a retreat. Good luck with this week!

  7. Like Becca, I’m looking forward to seeing the umbrella quilt! You two have some good things lined up!

  8. Another busy week for you and Sue!

  9. The umbrella quilt looks like it’s going to be adorable–I can’t wait to see more of it! Thanks for linking up to What I Made Monday.
