Happy Independence Day Sparkler!

Home Sewn By Us, which is Sue and I, wish you a very safe and Happy Independence Day! May your day be filled with a sparkling sparkler or dazzling fireworks. If that doesn’t interest you, then how about unlimited time to sew, read, eat, spend with family, or your favorite pass time. {{Hugs}}

Not only do I love this .gif because I just recently had success adding to a post (oh yes, I did it myself!) BUT these nails remind me of Nicole, Colt’s momma. She is a Color Street nail advisor and has an ongoing party. Nail advisor sounds so impressive, doesn’t it?!!

Our Independence Blessings

And to share our littles from the previous Independence Days . . . 2021 with Dominic, Colt, and baby Chase in the stroller at the parade with festive beads. ACDC at our house for a group photo (ages 3, 2, 1, and 5 months); 2020 with Colt’s first as a Little Firecracker, and Addison and Dominic waving flags at Gamma’s house; 2019 with a sweet toddler Dominic, and baby Addison at six months (plus an extra photo of sock baby girl because it makes me smile); and finally, Dominic’s first in 2018.

Stay safe! We would like to enjoy another Independence Day with all of you next year. Here’s an alternative idea to staying safe . . .

    What was I doing on 4th? Other than feeling sad for the lack of freedoms for half of the country, I was sewing up a storm. Honestly, the holidays are best celebrated with kids. So you are the lucky ones, Roseanne and Sue. Now about that cake…well I could bake one but it is also best shared with others. Maybe I should travel to the next town over and pick a slice of my favorite one – dark chocolate with salted caramel. It is worth it!!!

    Way to go on adding the GIF! I love when I learn to do new things like that. I totally cracked up on the note about weighing more so I’m harder to kidnap. I’ll have to share that one!

    My favorite on this post is the sign that says it is better to be fat than skinny because one is safer – now I can quit walking! Love it pass the cake and ice cream and 3 hot dogs please! Cute babies enjoying our country’s Independence! Hugs
