Weekly To-Do #44

We just celebrated our blogiversary on Sunday.  Check out that post and enter our giveaway that ends this Friday night at midnight!

This is our 44th edition of our weekly to-do list.  I share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Monday, and Tuesday’s linky party can be found on Christine’s Stitch All the Things website. ~smile~

To-Do Tuesday for the week February 5th through 11th:

  1. Sew a few more Regatta Quilt strips – √ done
  2. Put the Fluffer Nutter table runner together – √ done
  3. Sew I – M row together on the ABC – √ done

To-Do #1

I did indeed sew a few more strips together for the Regatta Quilt.  We have 12 of the colored strips together; just 7 more to go.  I blue-loving sister might enjoy this quilt as well as the Fluffer runner below.  We’ll have to see about that!

To-Do #2

Our friends Cindy at In a Stitch Quilting and Tracy at It’s A T-Sweets Day are hosting a Mystery Quilt Along.  The one requirement for this QAL is to use Fluffer Nutter fabric by Moda.  I think we can reveal that we are making a table runner using the Evening Star pattern.  We may give this table runner to my sister as it’s been years since she had a new one.  About time for a new one we think!  Up next is to quilt it but we have until the end of March for it to be complete.

To-Do #3

A small goal in moving this project forward this week was to sew the I-M row together.  We did complete this goal but in doing so we discovered that some of the sashing strips had shifted.  Or as Sue said, they are all over the house.  Well, not true – they were all over the hallway and sewing room.  They floated to the floor like some kitties were batting them around!  So we took a few moments to straighten them out in a pleasing manner.  The next few rows should be a breeze to put together.  In theory.

February OMG Goal:

Our Elm Street Quilts February OMG goal is to finish the quilt top for this last ABC wall hanging.

EXTRA:

Sue started a new quilt I’m calling Bubbles.  She is going to sew this on our Lily sewing machine.

To-Do February 12th through 18th:

  1. Seven strips left on the Regatta quilt top – wrap it up
  2. One of the three final rows on the ABC wall hanging
  3. Continue on the Bubbles quilt

We wish you a week filled with many blessings and good sewing/quilting vibes!

      Hi Laura,
Thanks so much! I love that Fluffer fabric – it is so nice to work with and I really like the color/pattern with its rather modern feel. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting! ~smile~ Roseanne
