To-Do Tuesday #40 & Monday Musing

Two of our friends host a weekly linky party. Brenda at Songbird Designs has a Monday linky party called Monday Musings. Our friend Carol at Quilt Schmidt hosts To-Do Tuesday with a linky party as well. We will share our weekly updates on both of their websites.

Walk Challenge Update:

My goal is 10,500 steps a day, and *20-30 minutes of yoga. How did I do last week?

  • 2/25 = 11,202*
  • 2/26 = 11,310*
  • 2/27 = 12,358*
  • 2/28 = 11,462*
  • 2/29 = 12,634*
  • 3/1 = 11,546*
  • 3/2 = 10,752*

Coming Up:

We will be a participant for the first time in the 2024 Villa Rosa Designs blog hop on March 15th. Running from March 14 through 21, it’s called Fast & More Fun Blog Hop. VRD has all of its designs on a postcard and they cost only $2 each. New designs are being released just for the hop and our day will be March 15th. Here’s the sneaky peak I’ll leave you with as it will start next week.

To-Do for last week:

  1. Sew the cottages together
  2. Resume the HRT baby quilt
  3. Two limit list for a stress-free week

To-Do #1

The Cottages table runner is coming together nicely. Here’s a shot of some of the cottages made using a charm pack fabric line called Concrete. I’m not real wild about the roofs matching the front door but Sue informed me it’s a planned neighborhood. Hmm. Maybe that’s not my thing?

The background fabric is a gray Grunge-type fabric. Eight stars are required for this table runner and we feel the Friendship Stars fit the bill nicely.

To-Do #2

These are sewn into rows (no picture). Suddenly, the squirrel posse showed up and derailed everything. Those squirrels meant business.

A lady purchased our shamrock mug rug from our Etsy shop. She was tickled with it and asked if we had any others available. Well, yes. Yes, we do. I sent her pictures of our hearts and flag mug rug. She wanted both of them.

Did we have any more? Well, we had two in the works . . . an Easter egg theme and a happy flower for Spring. The flower has a denim background – we have a drawer full of denim scraps to use up!

Maybe this week the HRTs will be a focus again . . . or maybe not.

What To-Do Next Week?

  1. Finish up one or both Cottages runners
  2. Possibly sew the HRTs rows together
  3. Only two – no stress
