This year we did join the Quarter Finish Along. Our friend and fellow blogger, Nicole, at Handwrought Quilts is one of the Hosts for the 2019 Finish A Long.
Since we already do a weekly and monthly setting of goals or to-do, why not add a quarterly?! In the first quarter, we completed 6 of the 11 items on our list.
Quarter Two – A New List
Here are the items we hope to finish over the next three months. Is it another overly ambitious list? I guess only time will tell but it is three less than last quarter!
- Dr Seuss #2 finished and listed on Etsy
- New Dr Seuss #3 finished and listed on Etsy
- Cinderella quilt for Addi’s grandma (from Carol at Just Let Me Quilt)
- Harley t-shirt quilt
- Hidden Stars quilt top quilted (charity quilt)
- Rainy Days quilted
- Autumn Leaf quilted
- Sandra’s Beothuk QAL which starts in April
Quarter Two Project Details
The first six items are a carryover from quarter one in some form. Some of the items didn’t get finished because I got bored. That perfectly describes the two Dr Seuss quilts that were a non-finish. The Cinderella quilt for Janice and Addison is actually a pattern called Her Carriage Awaits from Carol at Just Let Me Quilt. I suspect this will have lots of sparkle to it when it is finished.

The Harley Davidson t-shirt quilt has just been started. We hope to share detailed posts about how we go about making a t-shirt quilt from the beginning steps all the way through quilting. Speaking of quilting, three items on the list are quilt tops awaiting quilting.

I think we are blessed when we have lists and lists waiting – never bored! I love the Hidden Stars quilt and the “Her Carriage Awaits is just darling! Full plate indeed!
Roseanne, you have some great projects listed for the second quarter of 2019. I am also interested in your Harley quilt as someday I want to make a t-shirt quilt. I’m still working on my Qtr 2 list, but thanks to you, I don’t need to list finishing my Random Intention quilt as a Finish-A-Long goal anymore! Have a great weekend! Mary

Hello Roseanne, It seems like a fun and doable list for you and Sue. I hope that you have fun with all of these quilt projects. It is pouring down rain again today, so I am sure I will be inside working on my applique blocks…plus there are some house cleaning chores that I need to complete also. Have a wonderful day!

Looks like a good list! I need to get mine together, but first back to the quilting weekend.
We can cheer each other onto our finishes goal-I need to pick some and get a post together this weekend.
