To-Do #52+36 Weekly Recap Update

This is our 88th edition of our weekly to-do list.  We share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Mondays, and Christine’s Stitch All the Things website on Tuesdays.  Check it out as other friends post their to-do lists as well! ~smile~

To-Do for the week of December 10th through 16th:

  1. Continue working on George – √ done
  2. Start quilting Jigsaw – nada
  3. Continue buttonholing the Quiet Booknope

To-Do #1

Baby Girl ♥ ♥  will be her in no time, and her quilt is nearing completion.  It is turning out  bigger than Dominic’s, but Andrea requested that it be able to tuck under the crib mattress.  Since we were designing it ourselves, we could make it any darn size we wanted!  Here George is watching me while I work on stitching down the binding.  Almost ready for Baby Girl!

To-Do #2

Quilting on Jigsaw has not begun.  There just wasn’t time this past week for any sewing other than a few moments Sunday morning, and George was the priority!

To-Do #3

The Quiet Book, which Carol at Just Let Me Quilt shared on her blog, has not been worked on either.  This week is a bust as far as getting things completed!

December OMG

This month we chose to finish quilting and binding our Jigsaw baby quilt.  This project has not been started at all!  Baby Girl comes first. ~smile~

To-Do December 17th through 23rd

  1. Continue working on Quiet Book
  2. Set Sue’s new cutting table

  2. Oh it’s so fun to see George watching, with his heart eyes, baby girl’s quilt being finished! Will she come on Christmas day or New Year’s?! 😉💕

Set Sue’s new cutting table! Now that sounds interesting! You are going to have Baby Girl’s quilt finished, and that is the main priority. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if more got done in the next week, with some days off school.

Ah that giraffe quilt for baby girl is just going to be gorgeous. So what size did you end up making it? I looked over at Just Let Me Quilt – what fun quilts she has designed.

You will get there, and if you don’t it’s all good because Baby Girl will take your mind off of all else!

Hello Roseanne, I bet your whole family is beginning to hold their breath as Baby Girl should be entering all of your lives and the wait is getting to be unbearable! LOL. At least that is what happens in our family. This time of year is very difficult for meeting goals/deadlines because we just never know what is going to happen daily. I still have not even sent out my Christmas Cards. LOL. Have a great time everyday at this time of year! Thank you for sharing.

  7. That baby quilt is going to be so adorable. It is nice to have a larger quilt – it can be used on any size bed or lounging spot as BG grows up!

  8. Good morning Roseanne! Baby girl quilt is coming along nicely….can’t wait to see the final reveal 🙂

  9. Can’t wait to see the baby quilt! I think you are pacing yourselves well!

  10. Barbara Esposito says:

Well hello George peeping over that binding! So cute! And of course Baby Girl is the priority! Can’t wait for her arrival!
