Sue and I wish all of our USA friends a safe and Happy 4th of July!
To make this slightly more quilting-related, let me share some FMQ fireworks using a variegated thread on our Fireburst quilt. These fireworks bring to mind past happy July celebrations although we won’t be seeing any this year.
The inspiration for this quilting was found in a quilt shop in Bar Harbor, Maine called Fabrication. I was so happy that the shop owner let me take a photo of her piece and quilting. This was a fun-filled cruise we took with Sue’s mom and dad in 2018. We had planned on doing it again in 2020 but that didn’t happen, obviously.
One More 4th Inspiration
This sweet flag is hanging over our fireplace for the summer. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, it reminds us that we DO live in the Sweet Land of Liberty. Blessings to all of you. Stay safe and healthy.
