I Love Thursday #264 Abounding Blessings

Love #1

Kenosha lighthouse! Lake Michigan waters were stirred up from the NE winds, washing over the pier leading to the Kenosha, Wisconsin lighthouse. Check out those shelf clouds directly East, over SW Michigan. They were getting some snow, I suspect. Sorry, not sorry that it missed us. We can deal with some rough waves!

Love #2

Weekly giggle! Yup, I was the “remote.” I am 100% certain that it was uphill in both directions and the snow drifts were over my head.

Ahem, ahem, ahem. This happened last week. It’s no longer delegated to a heap below the design wall. More to come later, gator.

Wendy – this meme is for us and several other Chatty Cathy’s. Shutting up is not for me, that’s for sure. HAHA!

Love #5

Go ahead! Be a beautiful impact on someone’s life. They will never forget you and they’ll love you forever.

Love #6

Our littles . . . it was a slow picture week because most of the family was sick. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone but Sue, Gamma, William, Colty, and Nicole were sick over the past weekend. Chase was visiting the day before Auntie Sue went to Urgent Care. I didn’t get sick at all but Chase was feeling a little under the weather because he twisted his ankle. Has anyone ever tried to get a two-year-old to stay off their feet/rest, elevate the foot, and apply ice? The only thing that works is chocolate milk and watching Paw Patrol on Auntie Rose’s lap. Phew!

While taking a picture of the newly finished shamrock mug rug, Sue was enjoying this enticing green beverage. Any guesses on what it might be? It’s pickle juice. Dill pickle juice poured from the Milwaukee Dill Pickle jar straight from the refrigerator. Why, you may wonder. Apparently, the combination of vinegar and salt is soothing for a sore throat. Sue had a sore throat and she loves pickle juice. There you have it. Ninja fun happens any night of the week for Addison, Dominic, and Chase. D’s about to somersault onto the mat, and I love how Chase is waiting his turn! Finally, baby Maverick loves sitting up and having someone chat with him. He smiles and coos in return. Happy Thursday, friends.

Sorry to hear everyone was sick! Love the littles having ninja fun. That pickle juice is definitely not for me. One of my friends always wanted a Chatty Cathy – then she got me!

Love the lighthouse and the memes. Yes to changing the channel! I remember being my dad’s “remote”. I hope everyone is feeling better.

  3. We’ve been off and on sick here all winter. I think it’s been a bad winter for bugs. I hope everyone feels better soon. I love how awful it sounds when we had to change the channel by hand.

  4. I’m sorry everyone’s been sick, Roseanne! Hope next week is better. I love that picture of you and Chase! And dill pickle juice is good for a sore throat – who knew? Mike will like knowing that!

  5. I hope you’re all over the yukkiness! I looooved the TV remote meme and had to share it with my kids. And congrats on finishing the gnome runner. It’s totally adorable (and hey, so are you guys!)

That meme is definitely for us – hahaha! We would have so much to talk about, and so much to catch up on, there just wouldn’t be enough time 🙂 You look just a tad exhausted/exasperated in that photo (but still cute). I think Rose (Something Rosemade) will agree that Sue can now call that drink a “cintronickle” – our name for Kona Pickle and/or citron. It will sound a lot classier if Sue says, “I’ll have a citronickle, please” – don’t you think?

  7. Your memes this week are spot on for me!! I hope everyone is feeling better. I’m with Sue. I LOVE pickle juice too! Drink it right out of the jar because no one else here likes pickles, even! I even like to put a little lemon in mine! LOL Man, my mouth is watering! LOL LOL Your gnome table runner is just adorable! Have a great weekend.

It is that time of year isn’t it when everyone seems to have something. Hope everyone is doing much better and the kiddos will be back to their antics this week. The gnome table runner is such fun.

  9. Pickle juice and chocolate milk…now there’s an offering one cannot refuse! Yikes!
Hope all are on the mend and congrats on the finish!

Sorry to hear about all the illness floating through the family! It’s a tough year with all the changing weather! Hope all of you are feeling back up to par now…stay hearty and healthy! Love the photos…now that’s medicine…
