Fluffer Nutter Mystery Quilt Along
January 1st was a big day for our sew-along and also a Mystery Quilt Along hosted by our friends Cindy at In a Stitch Quilting and Tracy at It’s A T-Sweets Day. There is really only one requirement for this QAL, and that is to use Fluffer Nutter fabric by Moda:
You can use it is any way you choose. Hmm. We can do that! It is such a nice color with a rather modern pattern on the fabric. There are three other colors in this fabric collection with the same pattern on it – red, gold/yellow, and navy. We chose this one to work with the Fluffer Nutter, called Picnic:
Now I can’t tell you what we’re going to make from these two fabrics. Otherwise there would be no mystery at all, would there?! If you would like to join in on the Fluffer Mystery QAL, please reach out to Cindy or Tracy – I am sure they would love to have you. I’ll be sharing a bit of our progress as time permits. As I mentioned, this entire project has to be complete before March 31st. Stay tuned . . . ~smile~

Oh, I do like it in the darker blue, too! You really ARE being mysterious! I’m not good at keeping my secrets. LOL
Hi Susan,
HAHAHA – it’s easy because I can’t quite decide what we’re doing yet. Heehee – it’s a mystery to me as well. ~smile~ Roseanne
Haha, I’m still undecided too 🤔 here’s hoping we can decide in time 😂
I love love love your chosen fabric, it’s going to be so exciting watching everyones creativity flow 😍
Hi Michelle,
I had one plan in mind and now I’m doubting myself, so I may do something else. HAHA! Good thing the deadline is March – I can still think about it a bit. ~smile~ Roseanne
Roseanne, I am so happy that you are joining us! Love your choice of companion fabric. 🙂
I haven’t heard of the Fluffer Nutter fabric, but I do love everything Basic Grey makes. This will definitely be interesting!
Hi Nancy,
I hadn’t heard or seen this particular line before – Moda has so many good ones! I’m glad Cindy picked it – it will be fun to sew with. ~smile~ Roseanne
Had hoped to join in but am unable to find this fabric after a search on line at Moda. Look forward to seeing those pictures from participants!
Hi,
Oh no! I found it on Etsy for a really good price, even with shipping. I think the shop name is Hand Made is Heart Made (all run together). Check it out – they had all the colors – I ordered the navy at a different time. Good luck! ~smile~ Roseanne
If you are interested in purchasing the fabric it is still available from Fat Quarter Shop at this link https://www.fatquartershop.com/biscuits-and-gravy-fluffer-nutter-you-be-you-yardage
