  2. Make a list of our UFOs – √ done
  3. Prepare for the Regatta sew along starting January 1st – √ done

#1 and January OMG

We are not only going to get busy on the Dr. Seuss commission quilt, but we are making it our January 2018 OMG (one monthly goal).  We proposed to finish this up in the month of January.  I know Keri will be pleased. ~smile~  I will share this on Patty’s Elm Street Quilts January OMG link up.

We did make a list of our current UFOs.  We will be participating in a couple of UFO-busters.  I posted a message about this last week, listing our 12 UFOs along with a couple of goals we want to meet.  It seems that we could possibly finish one UFO per month, in theory.  Yes.  In theory.  I notice I forgot to list the January unfinished table runner.  Oops!  Ahhh, what to do with these . . . I don’t know!

Our Regatta sew along started yesterday.  There really wasn’t much to prepare for it . . . we had our fabric for a while now.  I’ll be sharing a separate post about the Regatta Quilt sew along!

EXTRA:

We made two blocks to send to Carole at From My Carolina Home.  She is collecting blocks to make into quilts for those who have lost everything in the recent and ongoing California fires.  If you are interested, please check out her post.  She shares a link to the quilt guild that is also collecting and has shared a block tutorial.

January OMG Goal:

Our January OMG goal is to completely finish the Dr Seuss commission quilt this month

To-Do January 1st through 7th:

  1. Continue working on Dr. Seuss – complete the quilt top
  2. Determine Regatta Quilt color layout
  3. Quilt the January snowman table runner – it is time for it!!

I wish you a week filled with many blessings!

Oh, wow… that Dr. Seuss quilt is just fabulous! I love it! I will be going over my UFO’s next week and making my list too. I will have to start linking up with either a OMG or some UFO-busters too. I am sure it will help me get things accomplished that have been sitting here for far too long!

      Hi Christine!
I have found all the link ups to be SO helpful!! Your link up with a weekly list keeps my head in the game, the OMG makes me think longer range. I still manage to have some UFOs but they are less maybe? Whatever works for you, use it to your advantage! ~smile~ Roseanne
