Beatitudes in Cross Stitch
Quite a few years ago we cross stitched the Beatitudes. They hang right outside my bathroom and I look at them each day. Recently, Tracy at Its A T-Sweets Day posted an article about her version of the Beatitudes. I made a comment about our little pillows and she said she would like to see them. Since I cannot post the pictures on her blog or our blog without a post . . . you all get to see them!
In case you are unfamiliar with them, there are eight beatitudes. Some may argue there are ten. The definition of the word beatitude is supreme blessedness. I won’t go into any further detail but know that if you want to learn more, Google is your friend and will show you the way. ~smile~
Beatitudes At Home
Our friend, Karen Olson, finished these cute samplers into pillows for us when we owned a cross stitch shop. They have made it through two moves and survived. Our little beatitude pillows are housed in a wooden shadow box that has a few other nicknack pieces in it as well.
They do make me smile each time I pass them.
If you get a chance, check out Tracy’s version in the link I shared above. I’d love to hear if you have incorporated the Beatitudes in any of your quilting projects. Let us know in the comments below.

My mom loves to cross stitch. She would love these. 😊
Hi Cindy,
They are a very easy pattern. I don’t even know if we still have it somewhere . . . ~smile~ Roseanne
I meant that she would enjoy seeing them. She has enough cross stitch projects to last the rest of her life. 😊
Oh these are so beautiful! All of your stitching and then making them into pillows and the display just make me smile😊❤️ Thank you so much for sharing them!
Hi Tracy,
You are too darn sweet! I’m happy to share them and your post was all I needed to be reminded to share them. ~smile~ Roseanne
