Beatitudes in Cross Stitch

Quite a few years ago we cross stitched the Beatitudes.  They hang right outside my bathroom and I look at them each day.  Recently, Tracy at Its A T-Sweets Day posted an article about her version of the Beatitudes.  I made a comment about our little pillows and she said she would like to see them.  Since I cannot post the pictures on her blog or our blog without a post . . . you all get to see them!

In case you are unfamiliar with them, there are eight beatitudes.  Some may argue there are ten.  The definition of the word beatitude is supreme blessedness.  I won’t go into any further detail but know that if you want to learn more, Google is your friend and will show you the way. ~smile~

Our friend, Karen Olson, finished these cute samplers into pillows for us when we owned a cross stitch shop.  They have made it through two moves and survived.  Our little beatitude pillows are housed in a wooden shadow box that has a few other nicknack pieces in it as well.

They do make me smile each time I pass them.
