To-Do Weekly #45 Update

This is our 45th edition of our weekly to-do list.  I share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Monday, and Tuesday’s linky party can be found on Christine’s Stitch All the Things website. ~smile~

We have a winner from our one year blogiversary raffle.  Carol S. won a free pattern from us.  She had her choice of patterns available from Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts!

To-Do Tuesday for the week February 12th through 18th:

  1. Seven strips left on the Regatta quilt top – √ done
  2. One of the three final rows on the ABC wall hanging – √ done
  3. Continue on the Bubbles quilt – √ done

To-Do #1

The Regatta quilt top is finally all sewn together!  I am thrilled to be this far on this quilt without a deadline.  I know exactly how I’d like to quilt it, with waves ~~~ going across each strip.  Shannon at Flemings Nine tempted me with her version of quilting, but I’m sticking with what I know.  For now, anyway.  That may be our March OMG goal unless I get to it before then.

To-Do #2

I managed to get all of the second ABC wall hanging together.  It has been layered and Sue is going to enjoy hand quilting it.

ABC 18

To-Do #3

Sue got all nine rows of the Bubbles quilt together.  They have not been sewn into a quilt top yet because I diverted her attention.  I want to join in the Postcard from Sweden QAL that Sandra is hosting, so we’ve been organizing our fabrics for that.

Shannon’s quilt on the right was my original inspiration for making the quilt.  This is one that I want to make for myself.

February OMG Goal:

Our Elm Street Quilts February OMG goal is to finish the quilt top for this last ABC wall hanging.  We just finished the quilt top for this goal.  This is also on our UFO PHD list, which is an added plus.  Now we’ll aim for having it completely quilted by the end of the month.

EXTRA:

Our sweet boy needed another sleepsack extended.  Since he was visiting with us on Saturday night, we took a picture of him in the newly extended sack.  Here’s another shot of what he usually does with us when he visits – naps.  We love this little boy!

To-Do February 19th through 25th:

  1. Begin quilting ABC wall hanging
  2. Sort/organize the Postcard fabrics

We wish you a week filled with many blessings and good sewing/quilting vibes!

Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to.  I also figured out how to show our Linky Party friends along the sidebar on our website.  Victory!  Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on.  We would love to see them!

The alphabet quilt looks so cute now that it too it ready for quilting. Great idea to hand quilt it. I’m so excited that you might finally have time to work on the postcard quilt. I just love seeing the stack of solid color fabrics. 🙂
