Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner – Double Up

My friend, Shannon, from The Flemings Nine blog recently released her second pattern recently.  The pattern is called Double Up, and she offers it for sale in her Craftsy store.  Celebrating the release of her new quilt pattern, Shannon offered a raffle to give away a .pdf of it.

Guess who won?!!!!!  I did!  Woot woot.  How lucky is that!  Let me share a few details about Double Up.  The pattern offers instructions for five sizes, from baby to king size.  Of course, my plan at first is to make a baby quilt because that’s what we enjoy making.

Double Up in Two Color Ways

Here is Double Up in just two color ways!  I am not really a purple person but I do enjoy this very much.  It looks so rich and crisp.  After all, purple is for royalty and I think this looks very royal.

Myra of Busy Hands Quilts tested out the pattern for Shannon, and this is the baby quilt she made.  Myra changed the pattern slightly by adding a border.  I know I will have to make a slight modification on our baby quilt because I don’t think I can make a square quilt.
