Wapush – You’ll Hear That Sound Soon

Wapush!  Wondering what that word is?  In the urban dictionary it is the sound of a whip being cracked.  That is exactly what I am doing to myself this weekend.  I have been slacking enough this month, as very little sewing has ensued.

Big Time Wapush

After the littles go home Saturday morning, our sewing room is going to be humming.  What prey tell needs to be accomplished, you might ask?  Well, let me tell you!

  • (Oooh, it’s serious – we’re starting a list!)  Hidden Star will be a quilt top by Sunday night.  All the Group A and B pieces are just waiting to be arranged and sewn together.  They get their wish because there is going to be some serious chain sewing ensuing shortly.

Hidden Stars 5-6

  • Advance the secret sewing project but I cannot share a photo of that
  • The Dr Seuss quilt hogging up the design wall has to be finished.  At the very least, a quilt top and even better a layered bundle for me to start quilting.

  • Bindings finished on two quilts – a good thing to do while watching TV or even holding a sleeping baby maybe

Wapush Check In

Check back early next week to see if I was able to keep us in check with the wapush.  I’d be thankful if there are no squirrels that introduce themselves as well.  ~smile~  Happy Friday to each of you.

Hello Roseanne, We have had all the excitement we need for the whole weekend here, so you take all that and put it to good use and let your sewing machine just sing that musical sound sewing the great projects together you have planned. Have a marvelous weekend!
