To-Do Tuesday #256 Weekly Update

Join us today for the 256th weekly To-Do Tuesday list and update. Linda hosts the To-Do Tuesday linky party and we thank you, Linda!

We’ll be hosting a TGIFF linky party this Friday, May 20th. Our post will actually go live on Thursday, mid-day, to allow for our international friends to join in. I hope you will check out the links and share what you’re finishing!

To-Do for the week of May 10th through 16th:

  1. Quilt one more quarter of Have A Ball – √ Done
  2. Find the fabric for a journal cover√ Done
  3. No more – stress-free motto adherence!

To-Do #1

WOOHOO! The crosshatch design on Colt’s Have A Ball quilt is complete and now is awaiting the addition of the binding. Since we enjoy sewing it down by hand, and the weather has been unusually HOT lately, the binding can wait until mid-week. It’s supposed to cool back down to normal mid-May temperatures if there is a “normal” these days.

To-Do #2

The project that I’ve wanted to make ever since I saw Jen’s (at Dizzy Quilter) version is finally started. Since leftover jellyroll pieces are the perfect size for this journal cover, we have some from our Collaboration Synergy quilt. These are such a pleasing color palette to me.

The blue strips at the top are for the inside flaps and the lining will be a simple muslin fabric. We will all see if there will be a graphic on the front cover!

To-Do for the week of May 17th through 23rd:

  1. Host TGIFF and share the finished Home-Stars table runner
  2. Start hand sewing the binding for Colt’s quilt
  3. Two is enough – keep it stress-free

Fantastic quilting for Colt’s quilt. You can really see the end from here. And that journal cover will be lovely. I definitely like the colors. This unseasonable heat is really hard to get used to. Too much change. Have a fun, leisurely, stress-free week.
