To-Do #52+32 Weekly Recap Update

This is our 84th edition of our weekly to-do list.  We share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Mondays, and Christine’s Stitch All the Things website on Tuesdays.  Check it out as other friends post their to-do lists as well! ~smile~

To-Do for the week of November 12th through 18th:

  1. Quilting Plus Playtime – not done!
  2. Tree and Leaves on Baby Girl’s quilt  – √ done
  3. Marking Rainy Day stencils – not touched at all!

To-Do #1

The beautiful Plus Playtime quilt for Luke has been folded and set on the chair.  You may think that is not a good sign, and you would be correct.  I am beginning to think our November OMG will not be met.  However, I’m not one to give up easily!  It is still possible.  I just needs quite a bit of attention to finish those two rows, but there are still 11 days left.  It could happen.

To-Do #2

The quilt for Baby Girl is speeding along.  I shared an update on Friday, George the Giraffe Gets Appliquéd with all the fun details.  This weekend, George got his hoofs sewn on . . . and some other stuff that I can’t share.  Remember, I said no more pictures or details until she arrives.  So, I’ll leave you with George’s sweet face, reminding me to keep quiet.  Shhhhhhh! ~smile~ George supervising

To-Do #3

Rainy Day is also folded, quite neatly, and joining #1 on the chair.  No further thought or action has been taken regarding the stencils or quilting.  It’s a shame because my mojo is still ramped up for working on it!

Extra Projects

Lest you think we were just sitting around, twiddling our thumbs, we were not.  I decided that we just NEEDED to make something for my boss for Christmas.  Sue also started TWO new projects that may or may not revolve around Baby Girl.  I’m going to write more about all of these of Friday!  Here’s a sneaky peek at one of these extra important projects. All the best for the month goal, you are like me – if I say I am going to do it, I generally make it unless something happens. Can’t wait to see the finished giraffe quilt -so cute. Enjoy Thanksgiving – such a wonderful celebration day to have.

I feel much better now, seeing your short list isn’t finished. =) Thanks for the comfort! LOL I know you are going to get going on that Plus quilt. Maybe Friday, if you aren’t out spending money all day – start at midnight and then sleep four hours, and get up to work on it. LOL Whatever you do, have a great Thanksgiving, and ha, ha, don’t stress! =)

  5. Vicki cracks me up – haha! You have some good goals in place, and I think you could get your Nov goal done, so I’ll just cheer you on from over here. I’m curious what you are making for your boss.

You can do it-meet your Nov. goal–it’s called discipline!!!!!!! Or is it put toothpicks in your eyes to keep them open so you can sew late into the night. I mean who needs sleep, ROFLOL
