To-Do #1
I Wish You A Merry quilt is complete. We made our September OMG and posted about it last Friday. Here it is in all of its stippled beauty.To-Do #2
The Jigsaw quilt is all together!! Woohoo. Now we just need to find a backing or maybe use one from our stash. It sure seems like we should already have something on hand – just sayin’. Missouri Star Quilt Company had a $2 shipping one day last week, so I ordered some fabric then. Actually, I ordered some for all of our pending projects: The biggest picture is the fabric for Jigsaw, the tan is for Las Vegas Leaves, and the fabulous dots is the backing for Rainy Days. Just when I thought we had all the backings we need I discover I forgot all about Up From Here. Geez!To-Do #3
Baby Girl may be joining us a bit before the end of the year. What?!?!! We’d better get going on her giraffe quilt, n’est-ce pas? Here is a peek at what we worked on Saturday, and a pretty good view of the giraffe fabric for George. Isn’t it just perfect?!!October OMG
We need to pick our Elm Street Quilts’ October OMG goal. Hmm, what should we pick, w.h.a.t. should we pick? We’ll let you know during the week becauseTo-Do October 1st through 7th:
How did it get to be October already?!!- Continue working on Baby Girl’s giraffe quilt
- Fireburst next clue is available
- Watch the first week’s video in Angela Walter’s next QAL (notice I do not say start quilting because I do not have the fabric ready yet!)
Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
The fabric is perfect for the giraffe. I had a spree at MSQC too but no free postage! Costs a lot to post here $30 US for the order, but… still cheaper than buying the fabric here!
I’m looking forward to seeing more of the giraffe, you found the perfect fabric, looks great.
I love L.O.V.E. that backing for the rainy day quilt! And you do need to get going on the Giraffe – we are in the slippery slope to the end of the year!
Can’t wait to see George come together. It looks fun. I’m sure New Baby Girl’s parents will be thrilled.
Good luck on your week! I, too, am thinking of doing the Angela QAL – not really enough fabric in my stash, but I am at a quilt show all weekend, can probably remedy that!
That giraffe is going to be fabulous! Can’t wait to see it…
