We Wish You A Very Merry or Happy . . .

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Holidays, and a very, very, VERY Happy New Year to each and every one of you. We are both hoping that the new fresh start that January 1st brings will be the start of all good things and many blessings.

It’s Merry Inside

We have decorated the inside of our home and we will be sharing it for our usual Christmas Eve party. Some of our peeps cannot attend and that makes us sad.

Deli sandwich trays, baked beans, hot sliced ham, shrimp and cocktail sauce, guacamole dip, Grandma’s cheese ball, fudge, mocha cheesecake, and Christmas cookies. Just typing the list makes my mouth water.

A Little More Merry

Finally, I’ll share a picture of Santa with some our of our littles. Some are still afraid of Santa it seems, while others are not at all. My favorite is Knuckes with Colt and Santa!! Andrea had to hang on to Addison, Chase was ready to cry since his big brother was, and Dominic was having nothing to do with Santa. That is until later . . . at a distance. Another aspect of COVID . . . they don’t remember Santa from when they were younger.

Addison told Santa she would like some Bluey pajamas. That was big news to her momma. Once she was safely by the door, far away from Santa, she added that she’d also like a Barbie doll. Merry Christmas from Sue and Roseanne! See you on the flip-flop. ~smile~

Oops – One Last Merry!

How could I forget to share a picture of our most recent quilt finish? It’s a Christmas quilt and the panel on the back says, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

Please do have a very Merry or Happy holiday season. {{Hugs}}

    Merry Christmas Sue and Roseanne. What a lovely tree and village! Santa is always a risky business with young kids. But cute photos. And those food options sound way good. Hugs. And happy quilting tomorrow!!

    A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you there from the frozen north where mother nature has apparently been nipping too much of the old eggnog! We’re finally out of -40s! I never though about how Covid would mean that the little ones would not have been able to see Santas all over the place up close…sobering thought of how many childhood things we take for granted had changed. They are still adorable though, especially Colt! LOL Love the quilt finish…wish I could say I got my butt in gear and finished something! All the best today and every day!

    How fun to see that finished Christmas quilt. It was fun making blocks for that quilt. And in 2023 you should see a camping Ripples quilt. Merry Christmas my friend.

  12. Merry Merry Christmas to you, Sue and all the special ones you get to share the holiday with. Covid did impact your littles memory of Santa, but those photos will long be treasured. Love your menu and that wonderful Christmas quilt. ๐ŸŽ„โ„๏ธโ˜ƒ๏ธ๐Ÿคถ๐Ÿป
