To-Do Tuesday #257 Weekly Update
Join us today for the 257th weekly To-Do Tuesday list and update. Linda hosts the To-Do Tuesday linky party and we thank you, Linda!
To-Do for the week of May 17th through 23rd:
- Host TGIFF and share Home-Stars – √ Done
- Add the binding for Colt’s quilt – Nope
- No more – stress-free motto adherence!
To-Do #1
Last Friday, we hosted Thank Goodness It’s Finish Friday (TGIFF) successfully. Thank you to all who visited and linked up a recent finished project. We shared all the details of the Home-Stars table runner we made for Sue’s sister, Janice. It fits just perfectly on her spiffy-looking bike table.
To-Do #2
On the docket for last week was to get the binding sewn down on Colty’s quilt. I was lamenting that it was too darn hot to work on the hand sewing, but it didn’t seem to bother Sue one bit. She finished hand sewing the binding Friday night, and I washed and dried it on Saturday morning. It was all ready for Colt to jump on with his cousin Sunday morning! I’ll share more details later this week in an OMG post.
Colt and Dominic were playing a game of hopscotch of sorts. Who can stand on the soccer ball? Hey! C-o-l-t spells Colt on the golf ball!
To-Do for the week of May 24th through 30th:
- Beats me! I have nothing on the radar right now.
- The second annual Positivity QAL starts on the 29th
- Two is enough – keep it stress-free

Love that they are playing on the quilt … and to have Colt’s name on the golf ball – that’s a brilliant idea! You two are SEW creative when you’re putting special gifts together!
You know what? It’s OK not to have a plan some weeks! Just enjoy and let your creative juices flow!
That bike table is crazy! What a convo piece! How great to see the quilt all finished and being loved!
Aw, I can’t wait to see the pics!! It looks like he loves it.
Wow what an unique table that bike table is. Runner looking good on top. Looks like the sport ball quilt is a big success and great finish. Ah a ‘beats me’ week is a good idea – allows the brain to refresh and come up with new ideas!
Hi,
Love table runner…looks good on the table! The boys seem to be hapy
laying on the quilt…I can totally understand working on a quilt when
it’s hot….I try to do all my quilt binding in the spring or winter. Much
more comfortable having a quilt laying on my lap. Have a great day!
Yay for the finish on Colt’s quilt! Heat, what it’s been cold over here!! I love your goals for this coming week:)
Oh, so great that Colt’s quilt is done!!! Hooray to Sue for all her hand sewing in the heat. Hopscotch on a quilt….now that sounds like fun for the young set! Good luck with your stress free week!
Congratulations to you and Sue for finishing off those two projects. More than that, I love to see an open week with no pressure!! We all need those. My sewing mojo is on the uptick. But I don’t want to overdo it either. The end of school is next week. The only grand still in school graduates middle school and moves on to high school. The oldest one graduated college earlier this month!
Colt is so cute…I do love that quilt! It turned out fantastic! Very tempting and then I think…oy…another project…just what I need! LOL
Oh look at that little Colt on his quilt! So sweet. A pat on the back for Sue for finishing that binding. And yay for you for the “beats me” – lol! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. 🙂
Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
Colt’s quilt looks great, Roseanne! Look how big he’s getting! I’m sure that’s going to be a well-loved quilt.
A good week! I love the “beats me” weeks – so relaxing and fun!
