To-Do #52+37 Weekly Recap Update

This is our 89th edition of our weekly to-do list and it’s Christmas Eve.  EEK!  We have a party to get ready for!  Usually we share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Mondays, and Christine’s Stitch All the Things website on Tuesdays.  I don’t think that’s going to happen this week, but we’ll see!  Check it out as other friends post their to-do lists as well! ~smile~

To-Do for the week of December 17th through 23rd:

  1. Continue working on the Quiet Book – √ done
  2. Set up Sue’s new cutting table – √ done
  3. Get going on Jigsaw – √ done

To-Do #1

The Quiet Book was shared originally by Carol’s blog at Just Let Me Quilt earlier in 2018.  We have been making some progress on our version.  Buttonholing on the front cover is now complete, and next steps are being assembled by Sue!  You can see her work in the picture below of her new work table.

To-Do #2

In July, 2017 our sewing room got a bit of an update with a new sewing machine and tables for me.  I was finally able to convince Sue that she needed a new cutting table as well.  One with drawers, and that would hold that new fancy mat.  Here it is in all its newly organized glory!

To-Do #3

Remember when I said it was time for Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It  for our Jigsaw quilt.  Yeah.  It is past time to get jiggy wit it.  Swirls in the knobs and stippling in between has begun.

December OMG

This month we chose to finish quilting and binding our Jigsaw baby quilt.

To-Do December 24th through 30th

  1. Celebrate with family Christmas Eve, followed by a candlelight service at midnight
  2. Have lunch with my sister and her family
  3. Truly finish the Jigsaw baby quilt . . .

Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link above or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to.  Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on.  We would love to see them!
