Weekly To-Do Tuesday List #82 Update
Are you are looking for the To-Do Tuesday linky party? Chris holds it over at Chris Knits and I will be heading over to link up our post right away. Without further ado, here is our weekly update to our to-do list.
To-Do for February 23 through March 1:
- Finish Lucy the Lion baby quilt – √ Done
- Round Seven (last round) for SAHRR – √ Done
- Island Batik Blog Hop starts today! – √ Done
To-Do #1
With the finish of this baby quilt, we are ready for our newest addition to our Littles group. Chase Michael, brother to Dominic and Addison, is due March 3rd was born on February 26th. Since Dominic has Ellie the elephant quilt and Addison has George the giraffe quilt, Lucy the lion was a natural progression. Washing the quilt along with some new cute little sleepers was an easy step to take before handing them off to Andrea. We can’t wait to share a picture of the baby on this quilt – and here he is! All the inside details were shared last Friday about Lucy the Lion baby quilt!
To-Do #2
With yesterday’s release of Round Seven in the Stay-At-Home Round Robin, that is the final round. Pinwheels are one of our favorite blocks to make. Incorporating the log cabin blocks from Round Six along with the little pinwheel border make our quilt top complete. Finishing off at 33.5″ x 36.5″, it’s smaller than our usual baby quilt yet a bit large for a wall hanging. Next, we will get it quilted, add a colorful binding, and wrap up this fun project!
We’ve all received a lot of positive feedback for this Stay-At-Home Round Robin! One last linky party on March 29th over at Quilting Gail‘s website will be held to share all the different varieties of quilts these seven rounds have inspired. I can’t wait to see all the varied interpretations.
To-Do #3
We are participating in a blog hop for a new fabric line by Island Batik called Vincent’s Garden. Tomorrow we will share our design (with a free pattern) featuring these lovely batik fabrics.

Little Chase Michael looks precious on that darling quilt. Lol on “wherever the wind blows me”!
Congrats on the finishes from last week. I was feeling out of sorts today because I didn’t update my to do list but I tend to be a little loose with it as well because I go where the wind blows me.
You are kicking it with those successes!! And how adorable is that little bit. Thanks for linking up!! And for my new button.
Chase on his cute Lion quilt is so adorable! Congrats on the new little one! Love your colorful SAHRR. And you are off and running with another activity! Blog Hop!
Great job on your list this week, Roseanne!! I love your finishes. I’m looking forward to seeing your project tomorrow!!
Perfect score on your To Do list this week!
I’m looking forward to seeing your Vincent’s Garden quilt!!! 🙂
Hi,
Awesome Stay at Home quilt…so colorful. Have a great day!
You did a great job on your to do’s last week and that little guy is so cute. Hope you get to cradle him in your arms soon. And while the list this week looks formidable, your qualifier at the end made me smile. Whatever hits the mark is the way it should be. Have a great week and I’ll be back tomorrow for your batik quilt.
Perfect timing, Auntie!
What fun! Love that little one on his great quilt. Can’t wait to see what you create for your hop quilt!
Aw just look at that widdle teensy football! What a cutey he is! Congrats to the new parents! The quilt makes for a fantastic pic, too!
So fun to see you two enjoying yourselves with your quilt projects! Lucy was finished just in time, and little Chase is a handsome little guy. Babies and quilts – there’s just something about them, right?!
Chase Michael is adorable! 🙂
Chase’s quilt is spectacular and congrats! Another wonderful baby entering the world! I love his outfirt too! He’s as big as the lion!!! I like how your did your borders on the stay at home RR–each month there is a little more white background and the design goes from tight to more expansive each week. Did you do that on purpose? You must have, you clever girl! Have a safe and happy week!
