This is our 43rd edition of our weekly to-do list and the first for February. I share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Monday, and Tuesday’s linky party can be found on Christine’s Stitch All the Things website. ~smile~
To-Do Tuesday for the week January 29th through February 4th:
- Sew a couple of Regatta Quilt strips – √ done
- Finish the Love Quilt renamed Nobody’s Perfect by Sue – √ done
- Keep plugging away on Fluffer Nutter – √ done
- Determine our February OMG – √ done
- Watch the Super Bowl – well, halftime at least – done √
Before I go any further, do you want to hear the coolest thing?! We won a $25 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop for our January OMG from Elm Street Quilts. Thank you so much Patty for hosting the monthly link up!
To-Do #1
I did indeed sew a few more strips together for the Regatta Quilt. We have 9 of the colored strips together; just 10 more to go. Seaglass is up next which is my favorite color of all of these strips! I suspect the next photo is going to have to be taken vertically.
To-Do #2
I sewed the binding on the Nobody’s Perfect quilt early in the week. This quilt is for the Valentine blog hop happening just next week, February 5th through the 8th. Sue did all the quilting on our embroidery machine BY HERSELF. Well, mostly by herself. I had to do minor thread changes.
To-Do #3
Our friends Cindy at In a Stitch Quilting and Tracy at It’s A T-Sweets Day are hosting a Mystery Quilt Along. The one requirement for this QAL is to use Fluffer Nutter fabric by Moda. I think we can reveal that we are making a table runner using the Evening Star pattern. We found a pattern we like and stick with it! We may be giving this table runner to my sister as it’s been years since she had a new one. About time for a new one we think!
To-Do #4 and February OMG Goal:
Our Elm Street Quilts February OMG goal is to finish the quilt top for this last ABC wall hanging. The poor little alphabet has been hanging out on the design wall for AGES now. It is time to get it finished and off the design wall so that it may be used for the Postcard quilt I want to make. Here is how it looks right now:
To-Do #5
Okay, I did watch a bit of the Super Bowl. I really can’t stand to listen to Cris Collinsworth. The Patriots – need anything else be said? I wanted to watch Justin Timberlake . . . but enjoyed an old episode of Columbia. Murder in Malibu and that used to be our old stomping grounds so it is fun to see sunny California again.
EXTRA:
Today is the first day of the Put a Little Love in Your Quilt blog hop. Check out these websites for all the fun. Our day is on Thursday:

To-Do February 5th through 11th:

Hi Tracy,
I found some inspiration for quilting the Fluffer table runner yesterday from Cindy Anderson. So, that is going to sneak in to the front and get itself quilted very soon. ~smile~ Roseanne
Awesome! I’m excited to see it:)
Your projects are so much fun to look at – especially that Evening Star Block!
Hi Patricia,
Thanks so much! I made another quilt using the Evening Star block pattern. I haven’t quilted it yet – maybe I’ll have more incentive on this smaller project. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Cindy,
I am so happy to be making a new table runner for my sister. She is totally a ‘blue’ person – her whole house in done in blues. I think she will like Fluffer a lot! ~smile~ Roseanne
Super! ❤️
You worked a little on everything on your list, how wonderful to have that accomplished, before long you will have more finishes. Congrats on your win-more fabric buying ahead;)
Hi Vicki,
I’m still plugging along on the Regatta. Almost halfway – this week I should be able to get a few more strips on. ~smile~ Roseanne
that is quite a list – but a fun one!
Hi Alycia,
Thanks so much – I hope to be able to get it all done this week. ~smile~ Roseanne
You just keep things moving along. Loving the Regatta, can hardly wait to see the Sea Glass added.
Hi Jan,
I’m so glad I stumbled upon the design from Block M. The fabrics are just so pretty and not in my usual go-to palette. ~smile~ Roseanne
