Two, Two, Who’s Got Two OMG November Projects

Indeed, who does have two November One Monthly Goal (OMG) projects? We do! In a month of 30 days along with a national holiday that may or may not be celebrated, we thought we should give ourselves two projects to complete. As I’m typing this, I’m asking myself if we are nuts? We are not . . . not that we know of. Would we know if we were? Would someone tell us? Who’s to say.

When Two is Better Than One

That is our motto all the time, right?! Two babies are better than one (or soon-to-be four in our case), while two black eyes are definitely not better than one. The ever diligent bestie, Sue, is focused on completing the fourth-quarter list. With her encouragement she pushed talked me into quilting two table runners for the month of November. Okay, we’ve got this.

This first project in our Two is Better Than One Extravaganza is this Snowman table runner for Nicole. A timely project since she will be decorating for the holidays by the end of this month. Good project choice, hey?!

Two in a Two-fer

Our second project for November is a very recent finish. It’s also a table runner that I’m not sure how to quilt and I haven’t put in any worry time about it either. Our Alaska Postcard table runner is our second OMG.

This is definitely a table runner that we will keep for ourselves as the postcards represent some fun memories. It will be nice to have a selection of choices to enjoy throughout the seasons in 2021.

Two OMG Recap

To recap our OMG projects for November, we will finish both the Snowman and the Alaska Postcard table runners. Patty from Elm Street Quilts hosts a monthly linky party that we will be joining. Her encouragement has helped us to complete a monthly project for several years.

Consider joining us each Tuesday for our hosted linky party called To-Do Tuesday.  Check our sidebar or our Linky Parties page on our website for more quilting fun.  Like/follow us on our Facebook page to share the photos of what you’re working on.  We would love to see them!

  4. I need to do two too! I thought I was caught up for my PhD but I didn’t really do one for this month. Good luck on your 2, I think you should easily get it done.

Hope there is not too much worry time put into the planning of the quilting. My sister and hubby did a cruise to Alaska last year and they loved it. Sounds like you have some good memories of Alaska. The stamps are really cool.

  6. You’ve got this and will accomplish so much more Roseanne. You and Sue make such a great team. I’m wondering what squirrels will run through your studio with these 2 runners for inspiration. 😉

Two great table runners! I think you can do this. The postcard quilt will be easy once you get going and that snowman quilt will practically quilt itself!!

Two table runners are the same as a baby quilt and you have done that before, so you got this;)
