  1. I absolutely fell in love itch your pointsettia block. Your color/fabric choices really make the block. I can’t wait to see the rest of the blocks. Your great-nephew looks like a really sweet little guy. He doesn’t know how lucky he is to have the sweet quilt beneath him. Congratulations all of your accomplishments! You go girl! 😊

Hi Cindy! Thanks so much for your sweet comments. Sue does the fabric selection 80% of the time, and she does agonize over it. Sometimes I just have a vision in my head and then I pick out all the fabrics – it just depends. That little guy just makes my day and week – he’s growing like a weed. ~smile~ Roseanne

      • Roseanne, They do grow really fast! If only we could snuggle them a bit longer. Picking fabrics can really me a nightmare. I love when it goes smoothly, without hiccups! 😊

What a great week you have had on your list! Love all your blocks and what you did with the panels. Hope you meet your OMG. Sadly, I’m behind on my goal.

      Hi Sharon,
Thanks so much for your sweet comments! That was a great week, only to be followed by an abysmal one. Oh well. I don’t think my first OMG is going to be finished either, but the world won’t stop revolving. I’ll finish it in November then! ~smile~ Roseanne

Evening star blocks are super neat. Yes, the secondary pattern is why I say no sashing and yes to border. The mixed 9 patch centers are really a special. Baby is extra special.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Marcy,
I’m leaning toward no sashing, too – I agree with your suggestion! And I think it will need borders just to make it a bit larger and to finish it off. Thanks so much for your visit and comment! ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. That’s a big list! Love the 9 patch stars tho!

      Hi Alycia,
That is a list I’m not doing too well on this week. HAHA One got a free ride because a new block wasn’t released after all. ~smile~ Roseanne

Love all of the blocks! I do see, and like, the secondary pattern that is showing up with your Evening Star quilt. And, by now you know how much I love the baby pictures… so it pretty much goes without saying that is my favorite picture in the post. How fun to get to babysit him for a whole day!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Christine,
I was surprising how tired I was at the end of the day – and he isn’t mobile yet. He is one busy baby – I can only imagine how he’ll be as a toddler. ~smile~ Roseanne

Aren’t great-nephews the best! Ha leading you into temptation but I love the second angel idea for the Christmas QAL. Love the look of the Evening Star quilt – one day I might do one too yours is looking so good. Good job on the Grandma’s Kitchen block – like those colours.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Kathryn,
I really have to get going on Evening Star. I have pieces ready for three more blocks to be sewn and 50 HSTs to iron and square up, but there is more to make. I thought I could easily have this top together this month. Hmm, we’ll see! ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. How fun that you got to check everything off your to do list! I can’t believe October is almost over….you’ve reminded me to hop on it to get my October OMG finished. Your nephew is adorable; I bet you had a lot of fun spending time with him. 🙂

    • Roseanne says:

Hi Beth – I know, we only have TWO weeks from tomorrow to get our OMGs finished. Geez . . . I’d better stop typing and GO SEW. ~smile~ Roseanne
