To-Do Tuesday Linky #45 & Weekly Progress Update
Join us for the 45th linky party post and the 165th weekly to-do list. Thanks to everyone who linked up with us last week. Gladys Taber wrote, “Contentment is a list with half of it crossed off.”
To-Do for the week of June 9th through 15th:
- Finish the Easter topper – √ done
- Sew the wonky blocks together – √ done
- Continue quilting the t-shirt quilt – √ done
To-Do #1
Happily enough, the Easter hexagon table topper has been finished into a quilt top. Beyond the three bunnies, we debated whether more decorations should be added. What do you think?
To-Do #2
Sewing all of the wonky blocks into a quilt top was a fun project for this week. I’ll be sharing a separate post with all the details later this week.
To-Do #3
Quilting on Sydney’s t-shirt quilt has been continuing. It’s rather bulky and I’ve already called the project a behemoth but straight-line quilting seems just perfect for this quilt top.
June OMG
Thank you to Patty’s at Elm Street Quilts and her monthly linky party. A t-shirt quilt for Sydney is just the ticket for this month’s project and quilting has begun.
To-Do for the week of June 16th through 22nd:
- Finish quilting Sydney’s t-shirt quilt
- Start Dominic’s big boy bed truck quilt
- Start leader/ended project
Here is the linkup and just a few easy rules to follow:
- Share your post or Instagram photo in the linky tool
- Don’t share a link to your own linky party or giveaway or promotion for your newest pattern release – I didn’t think I’d have to say this but apparently, I do!
- Please point your readers back here with a text link or use the button from the right sidebar
- Also, please visit and comment on other participants’ messages as time allows
You will find the link-ups displayed on a separate screen. I hope you check them out and/or add your own link! I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone else has made this week.
The Linky Parties we join can be found by clicking the link above or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
I like the bunnies just as they are, but if you HAD to do something in that outer border, maybe an Easter egg roll around the center in pastels. Good for you for finishing things. You are very focused.
I love the bunnies!
Oh those bunnies! Just the cutest! I agree that a bunch of carrots just might be the perfect touch. Love Sydney’s quilt. What do you use for stabilizer on the tshirts? I’ve run out of what I have been using and can’t find it anywhere 😢 Good luck on this week’s list. You’ll manage it all I’m sure 😉
Your bunny quilt is adorable! I like it as it is. Love the simple straight line quilting on the t-shirt quilt. Do you have a walking foot attachment? It might make it a tad bit easier to quilt.
Oh do I ever love that bunny topper! I know you two can knock these off the list, though if you’re like us, this next week looks to be pretty darn glorious…if you’re into heat that is! I am. 🙂
An egg if you are putting it out at easter! Or a basket in the center. But it’s just adorable as is!
Hello Roseanne, Your projects are delightful! If I did add any embellishments to the Bunny Tablemat, I would add some spring colored floss and embroider some ribbons or something fun Easter themed or Bunny themed. I think that the quilting pattern you chose for the t-shirt quilt is perfect! You and Sue work so greatly together at coming up with the perfect combinations. Keep up the great quilts and continue to show us your fantastic results! Have a marvelous day!!
Sweet little table topper…love the bunnies! I don’t see the need to add to it; I picture it on the table with a vase of daffodils and Easter candy. But you could certainly embellish with carrots, colorful eggs, etc….
You guys are so productive and with such cute finishes too.
Hi,
Love the bunny’s..I agree it needs something extra…but for the life of me, can’t think of
anything else to add…can’t wait to see the Wonky Blocks done…have a great day!
Holy Cow! You have been a busy lady! Great job. That table top is darling. I see daffodils or eggs around the border. The wonky quilt is so pretty and what progress on the behemoth! Surely you will finish the quilting this month. Glad you found your mojo again.
Oh my gosh! The Easter table topper is perfect! I love the bunnies peeking out. Good luck with your To-Do List.
You did great this week! Not sure you need anything else on the bunny table topper but you sure could if you felt like it! Eggs with rick rack come to mind and other fancy but flat ribbons. That t-shirt quilt must be keeping you warm….yikes wrong time of year….as you quilt it. It will be full of love for your sweet Sydney. Good luck with this week!
love the bunnies!
Your bunny tabletopper is adorable, Roseanne! I love that plaid fabric! Looks like you are making lots of good progress on things. Way to go!
You go girl checking all the done boxes. Love those little bunnies.
All boxes ticked! Woohoo! Happy dancing for you (actually, I’m sipping my coffee, but happy dancing in my head – haha). Love the bunny table topper; not sure I’d add anything, but if I did, either Mickie’s idea of carrots, or maybe a few eggs?
How fun when you get to check the DONE box on your goal list;) Sounds like you got your mojo back this week. The bunnies are adorable. I like Mickies carrot idea, but then again you are to the quilting stage and could soon be done.
Cute bunnies! How about eggs (appliqued) randomly spread out in the border section?
Love the plaid and those bunnies in your Easter table topper. Very cute. Good luck with this week’s to do list.
Wow, you have been busy! Love all these projects! Why not embellish the bunny topper with carrots of some sort? Have a great day!
