To-Do Tuesday – A New Linky Party Website
Today marks the first week of the To-Do Tuesday linky party being held by Chris at Chris Knits. I am certain Chris will do a fabulous job welcoming everyone during the transition. I know I will be heading over to link up our post right away. She has also been a partner in crime with us as one of the hosts of the Stay-At-Home Round Robin (Round Five wonky star border shared just yesterday).
To-Do List For February 9th through 15th
- No actual list was shared so do whatever you want
- Get the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on the 10th
To-do #1
Since I didn’t actually give us a formal to-do list last week, anything goes this week! We got the wonky-star border added to the Stay-At-Home Round Robin piece.
Later in our productive Saturday, we also worked really hard to get Lucy, the Lion baby quilt top together for the baby-boy-to-be. We will layer it and get it quilted sooner than later since he is due March 3rd.
To-Do #2
I was very fortunate to receive dose 1 of the Pfizer vaccine last Wednesday, February 10th. Working in a school district in Illinois put me in the 1b Group for the vaccine. Waiting was the name of the game – first outside in the snow and windchill (Brrr!), and then, inside waiting for the actual shot.
Although I’m not directly in contact with students, I do see many staff members on a regular basis. The vaccine shot itself was no issue – I had no pain or adverse side-effects at all. My next dose is scheduled for March 3rd.

Beautiful and bright and cheery quilting pieces, Roseanne. Lovely as always to see what two are up to. Yay to getting your first vaccine and happy it went well. We are waiting patiently still but think it will be March now for Tony. Fingers crossed!
Wow…I love your round robin quilt so bright and cheery….the lion super cute! Glad your first vaccine shot was successful! My hubby has had both shots with no problems also.
Loving both your SAHRR and Lucy the Lion quilts. I’m a big fan of the bright and colorful. So glad you were able to get vaccinated. My mom was able to get an appointment, but with the snow and such, I think she had to cancel it.
Your SAHRR is looking so good! Love the bright colors. The lion looks like he would fit well in the RR borders! Nice that you got your first vaccine. When IN opened up new age group, Hubs and I got signed up the first day but appointment is not until March 20th. Appointments filling up quickly. Thank you for all the weeks of hosting TDT!

Your SAHRR looks so wonderfully cheerful and congrats on your 1st vaccination! I am in the very last group, like on the Final Day of Judgement, I think our Lord will say “…And NOW those of you in Group Five can follow St. Peter to get YOUR COVID-19 vaccinations!” Hah!
SAHRR is coming along beautifully. Lucy is almost a finish. That’s great. You’ll have it done before baby arrives. I’m so glad to hear you are scheduled for the second shot. Great doable list this week.
Your lion turned out so cute! I know you are busy with everything going on, but I’m glad you are still blogging and participating in To Do Tuesdays. I am so glad you started it as it has helped me keep plugging away at my goals.

Glad to hear you got your 1st shot … they are very slow here in Canada – but only because they can’t get very many … so we wait and wait …

Your wonky stars are looking good! As is Lucy Lion! Glad you had no side effects from your 1st dose. Our second is scheduled for this Friday! It’ll be a drive though, into a large building! I’ll take pictures, it’s sure to be a “Kodak moment “!

Good news. I’ll be getting the Moderna 2nd shot the day after you. I’m impressed at how the number of shots being given has been increasing. Hopefully the foul weather won’t mess up the progress.

Your quilts are looking fab and glad you got your first dose. Hubby got his, I am maybe in 2b or 3a….but I am hoping that opens quickly as more vaccine gets there.
I’m loving your quilt! So bright and cheery. Stay safe and warm. WE HAVE SNOW! A little, anyway, with ice underneath. It’s still snowing at the moment, but should stop by noon. Unfortunately our little loves and their parents have no power. So far, so good for us.
