To-Do Tuesday #218 Weekly Update
Join us today for the 218th weekly To-Do Tuesday list and update. Gladys Taber wrote, “Contentment is a list with half of it crossed off.” We are joining Chris at her To-Do Tuesday linky party.
To-Do for the week of June 22nd – 28th:
- Make another 12 Corner Plus blocks – √ Done
- Start appliquéing Addison’s ballerina big girl quilt – √ Done
Sunday was the very first linky party for the Positivity QAL. Preeti is hosting the summer-long event while Bernie at Needle and Foot hosted the update link-up. More of our details were shared on Sunday but I am happy to share some of our favorite blocks so far.
The next two weeks are scheduled for completing 12 blocks each which are the final of the 48 blocks needed. This picture shows the cute little colorful four-patches that will separate each of the plus signs and rows. We LOVE it!
Ever the busy sewing room, our next big project has just barely begun. Sue has been working her magic on the fabric selections for Addison’s big girl quilt. It will have a ballerina theme and it needs to fit a full-size mattress. Recently, Addison has been quite vocal about how much she enjoys the Minky backing on her Olaf Baby Quilt. This was no great surprise as she has always been drawn to soft, textural things like a sleep-sack that she outgrew in a week.
Once the center piece has its appliqué further along, I will be happy to share a photo. Until then, you can enjoy Addison sporting her leotard and tutu twirling near the Christmas tree last winter.

We have linked our project for June on Patty’s Elm Street Quilts website. Last Friday, we shared a wrap-up post sharing all the details about our Flip-Flops Table Topper. Now it’s time to come up with a July OMG goal.
To-Do for the week of June 28th – July 5th:
- Make another 12 of the Cornered Plus blocks
- Determine our July OMG project
- Enjoy a doll buggy parade with our littles – maybe two parades!
