To-Do #1

Dare I say that quilting has commenced on George the giraffe for Baby Girl?!! ♥ ♥  It is being quilted with a simple crosshatch design, and it is halfway complete.

To-Do #2

Oh, yes indeed!  Quilting has definitely been happening on Fireburst.  January 1st is the quilt parade and this allows plenty of time to get this project wrapped up.  I am quite happy with how quilting has gone, and there will be a reveal on Friday.  While in Bar Harbor this summer the quilting inspiration was found in a quilt shop. When Kathleen showed how she quilted her version of Fireburst she unwittingly pushed me to it.  Here’s a peek!

To-Do #3

Sometime earlier this year, Carol at Just Let Me Quilt shared her Quiet Book.  It had a bunch of fun activities like button, snap, zipper, etc. for little fingers to work on.  Since we want to help our sweet boy, Dominic, work on his fine motor skills this is the perfect thing for that.  Sue has been busy cutting out items for me to buttonhole in between my quilting projects.  Dominic isn’t quite ready for this yet so there isn’t any rush to get this complete.

December OMG

This month we chose to finish quilting and binding our Jigsaw baby quilt.  This project has not been started at all!  Baby Girl comes first. ~smile~

To-Do December 10th through 16th

  1. Continue working on George
  2. Start quilting Jigsaw or the month will be over before you know it!
  3. Continue buttonholing on the Quiet Book
