To-Do #52+11 Weekly Update

This is our 63rd edition of our weekly to-do list.  We share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Mondays, and Christine’s Stitch All the Things website on Tuesdays.  Check it out as other friends post their to-do lists as well! ~smile~

To-Do for the week June 18th through 24th:

  1. Visit quilt shops – √ done
  2. Have fun – √ done

To-Do #1

We did manage to visit only one quilt shop on our beautiful cruise vacation, and that was while in Bar Harbor.  The name of the shop is Fabricate, and it was a nice little walk from the port.  What a fabulous town, Bar Harbor!!  I’ll have to write a separate post about our visit and give it its proper due.  Here’s a peek at the lovely sailing fabric we picked up – rather appropriate, wouldn’t you say?!

To-Do #2

Have fun?!!  We sure did – lots and lots of it.  Here are a few shots from our cruise; I’m missing a few that Sue took.  I’ll have to share those later.  The first and second picture is as we’re setting sail from NYC.  The third shot is Sue’s mom and dad in front of the Norwegian Gem, and the last is a bagpipe serenade as we left Portland.

Extra:

I will be happy to share a picture of our sweet boy since there was absolutely no extra sewing happening.  We missed our little buddy while we were gone, but GG is getting her fill of him today!

Dominic is not very impressed with our lack of getting our quilting work done for the week.  Back to the grindstone he says!  And make time to play with me, he also adds.

June OMG Goal:

Our Elm Street Quilts June OMG goal is to finish the Tea Flower mystery QAL #2 quilt top.  We will share our finished project on Friday, and that will complete our goal.

To-Do June 25th through July 1st:

  1. Finish Tea Flowers for the mystery QAL and our June OMG
  2. Start quilting Plus Playtime
  3. Find fabrics for our no-stress sew along that starts on July 1st

Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to.  Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on.  We would love to see them!
