Three Days – Three Quotes – Day #1

Cindy at In A Stitch Quilting nominated me to participate in the Three Days, Three Quotes challenge.  I technically wasn’t nominated but it sounds like something I would enjoy.  To me, it’s more of a share-your-favorite-quotes that you live by or would like to live by.

Three Days, Three Quotes Rules

Here are the Three Days, Three Quotes Challenge rules for participation:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Post a quote for three consecutive days (one quote for each day)
  • Share why this quote appeals to you so much
  • Nominate three different bloggers for each day

Thank you, Cindy for nominating me.  It is a huge compliment for you to say that you are inspired by our blog.  That is really sweet of you to say, and I’m touched by it.  My first quote to share is a simple one:

Start each day with a grateful heart

Grateful

Certainly, just being able to awake to a new day is a gift that I am grateful for.  I have so many things to be grateful for that I could not possibly list them all.  They include a strong faith in God, my family and friends, my job and coworkers, my safe travel to work each day, good health,  and the ability to live in a free country.  I wish for each of you to have plenty to be grateful for.

To nominate three bloggers each day is a lot!  If any of my blogger friends would like to join in and share three quotes in three days, I would love to read what inspires you.  If you don’t care to write a post about it, please share in the comments – I would love to see it.

Our Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link for more quilting fun or in the sidebar of our website – check out what our friends are up to.  Like/follow us on our Facebook page and share your likes/loves there!  We love to see them.  ~smile~

That’s a wonderful quote! Gratitude is so healthy for us, spiritually and physically. I don’t know a grateful person who is miserable.

  2. There is so much to be thankful for. At my stage in life the most important is waking up each day! 😊

We always express our gratitude in our nightly dinner prayer. I need to start my day remembering my blessings!
