It doesn’t sound the least bit extravagant! Are you flying in for MQG in February? If you are, I may have to move my trip to Tucson to March and come to MQG after all!

  2. That would’ve been the perfect fabric as backing, too bad. I’ve never been in a Field’s… Love seeing another Plus Playtime 🙂

At least there’s online shopping for our wants!

Have you road tripped to Yoder’s in Shipshewanna IN. Lots of fabric. Then there is Lolly’s in Shipshewanna too. Way to many fabric stores there and did I mention great food as well.

  5. I love your new quilt for Luke. The new geometric fabric is awesome looking. I will be excited to see what you make with it. Bummer it wasn’t in the store but glad you were able to order it.
How was the FMQ class? That is a class I would love (and need!) to take 😊

Glad you had a good time in GR. Several friends and I drove north to view the show and vendors on Friday. My friends and I just returned home from our own shop hop in Indy today. Great fun and 5 shops, #6 closed early because it was Saturday, which is really no excuse.

Chicago is awful but unfortunately there really isn’t a way around without any heavy traffic. Happy stitching this week!

Hello Roseanne, I so hope that you had a great time at your classes, which you did not talk about. Sorry that your fabric was not in stock but that you were still able to order it. Did you buy any other fabrics while you were there? I do not drive, but have always disliked driving in any large city. Learning to drive in North Dakota and then driving for many years there and in Wyoming through very bad rain storms and blizzards the weather does not bother me, it is the other drivers. LOL. I do look forward to seeing the quilt that you will make with this fun fabric! I may not be on the computer much in the next couple of days. I have got to get this quilt done and that means stop playing on the computer. Hee,Hee,Hee. I just have fun reading blogs and watching videos. Have a spectacular day!

So sad that fabric wasn’t there – it looks to be a great one. Love road trips and especially fabric and quiting trips.

That fabric is awesome! I may need to hunt some down for the hubs! And trust me sew-sista, if you weren’t so far away I would absolutely join you gals in the road trip!

I think just the road trip would be fun, and add in a quilt shop, well bonus. You two keep busy. Be safe!

  12. Well, at least you didn’t go too far out of your way only to find that the fabric wasn’t in stock. How disappointing. Chicago traffic is not my thing, either. Glad you enjoyed the class!

Your road trip sounds fun, as well as your trip to Nashville! You are lucky to have nearby quilty friends. 🙂
