November OMG – Quilting Madness
- We posted our usual Thursday like/love post a day early. You can find it by clicking the link.
It’s time to set our November OMG to link up on Patty’s Elm Street Quilts. There is only two months or 61 days left to 2018. Only 61 days left to finish up SIX outstanding projects so we are eligible to earn our PHD from Quilting Gail. Another totally fun way to look at this is that there are 61 days or LESS to meet Baby Girl! Keeping all of that in mind, we need to become quilting fools to wrap up these six projects. Our November OMG will be finishing Luke’s Plus Playtime.
November Goodness
The overall monthly goal includes a little mini goal imbedded in it. I want to quilt each of the 28 small plus blocks with a different pattern. A few friends gave me some suggestions to try, so I will be continuing that quest. If I need to fall back on a few favorites, I would have to say this double loop-de-loop is one of my favorite ones to do.
At the end of the month, I’ll share a final recap. I’ll include closeup photos of any new stitches I try. Hmm, I wonder how many pluses are already quilted??! Also, this is a Christmas gift. It will be nice to have it boxed and wrapped ahead of time. In theory anyway . . . ~smile~
Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
Best of luck on November and on your six. That’s ten days each, so you can do this! =)
Beautiful plus quilt, enjoy the quilting 😉
Wow! You have ambitious goals. Can’t wait to see the quilting designs you choose.
Looking good! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
All the best with the goal of doing different quilting in each plus sign. Yes I love doing that loopy one too, and it looks good too. I don’t know what I am going to do for my November goal – I have a couple of days to decide!
I like the way you count Roseanne! Counting the days until your new baby is the best way to count!!
I love that double loop de loop. I’ve not done any FMQ this year as I had hoped to, but I’ve decided to not feel guilty about it. I love to piece quilts, so for now that’s where I’m going to focus my energy. Luke’s Plus Playtime quilt is awesome. Love those fabrics and wish they were in my stash! Take care, Mary.
You got this! I can’t wait to see all the stitches.
Only 6! That’s one every 10 days. Totally do able. And it looks like you might have a head start on one of those!
Squeal! I love seeing this quilt again, and seeing your FMQ skills grow! I know you can do it. 🙂
Things are looking good. Wishing you great success in getting to your end of the year goals I have already decided at least one of mine won’t happen – but I committed to 2 hand projects before I knew about the IB ambassador. Overall, be happy with what you are doing – looking forward to seeing your new quilting patterns!
Your quilting looks great!
You got this!! You can do it:)
You are really doing well with the free motion! So fun to see!
