Miss You and Blogging SO Much
I can’t stand it. I miss you guys and blogging! My life is meaningless now that I don’t get to share every single thing that pops into my head. Well, not EVERYTHING but anything to do with sewing, quilting, and our little peeps. Good grief! Some of you might not even know that Chase Michael is here and is two weeks old already. I can assuredly say that he is adorable, a very good listener, and a peanut. Gosh, we forget just how little newborn babies are. They grow quickly though so that’s why we forget.
Chase is snuggling underneath a new afghan that Gayle made him (a coworker). Next, yeah that’s me. I’m in heaven holding our newest Mr. Perfect. It doesn’t get any better than that. GG snuck in some Chase time, too, although I think she was pinching him. He looks ready to wail, doesn’t he?! Or maybe give a good stretch (and she definitely wasn’t pinching him). Finally, he was peeking for the photo shoot while Gamma held him. Swoon!
Miss the To-Do Lists
We’ve been flying free and easy with our to-do lists. There’s no accountability, therefore, no focus is happening. I need the confine of a list, and the weekly reportability of sharing it with friends. Who knew?! Here is my pathetic attempt to make a to-do list on IG. It just isn’t the same – it isn’t blogging. I even numbered it To-Do List #83, and linked it up with Chris Knits! I was pretty proud of myself for getting that to work as well as the hashtags at the end.
To-Do for the Week of March 2nd – 8th:
- Set a goal for a March OMG project
- Work on a squirrel project – St Patrick’s Day table topper for Janice
- Catch up on the February blocks? Or start the March blocks?!
- Quilt the SAHRR project so it’s ready for the 29th parade
- Start on the Pieces From the Past quilt top
The only thing that has been accomplished last week is the setting of our March OMG project. We seem to do most of our sewing on the weekend. I was out of commission Saturday, and Sunday I was busy holding and talking to sweet little Chase. It’s a tough life but someone has to do it. I’m going to carryover items 2-5 in the above list for the week of March 9th – 15th. ~smile~ Roseanne #todotuesdaylinky #chrisknits #homesewnbyus
It will or should come as no surprise that you will see a regular post here on Tuesday the 16th. We’d better get cracking and get in that sewing room sooner than later.
Miss YOU – What Was I Thinking?
I try to visit and comment on as many blogs and Instagram as possible. Sometimes I am way better than other times, but the inspiration you provide is abounding. I have to RUN back to the I Like Thursday group as my positivity has fallen. How is Milo doing? What about Michele – is her knee still bothering her? And Mary in Peoria – good grief, it has been ages since we’ve heard from her. Is she okay? What new table runner is Vicki going to make that I need to make as well? I care about you guys – you are my peeps now. I include you in my prayers and while we may never meet in person, I think about you often.
Enough of the Nonsense
I know when I’m beat, and I can admit I was wrong. Dead wrong. Pinterest can bite me. Whether it ever gets resolved shouldn’t have an impact on my blogging. We are moving forward and I am back, baby. I can’t take it NO MORE. Take that as a warning, I guess. Sue doesn’t even know about this decision yet! Surprise, Sue! ♥ ♥ Hmm, now what mischief can I get into before she reads this . . . any blog hops we should join? Or some QALs that Carol has been sharing every.single.day?!
♥ ♥ ♥
Like/follow us on our Facebook page to see what we’re up to. I’ll also be sharing updates on Instagram, too!
Great to see the pictures of Chase. I love reading your blog. It makes me feel like my own is not out of line. I’m still getting my groove (after 4 years). There is nothing like putting it out there on a blog. I love Instagram but you are at the mercy of the alogrithim as to what you see unless you remember to go check something. Welcome back!
What a cutie! Congrats on the new addition to the family. Holding the new little one definitely trumps sewing for a few days, weeks. So glad you are back to blogging. Missed seeing the littles and checking out your fun projects.
I have missed you and the littles too. Chase and I share a birthday! Woohoo what a sweetie. Sometimes life gets very busy and we try to take things off of our plate. It takes me almost all week to get around to reading blogs.
Welcome back! I too have developed relationships with a few readers of my blog and their absence is noticed when I don’t hear from them for a while.
Oh my lord he’s so tiny and perfect! What I wouldn’t give to have a little one exactly like him to cuddle! Sigh… And I am sooooooooooooooooooo glad to have you back!!! Whew, withdrawal was brutal…
Chase is absolute perfection! Give him a hug for me 🥰
Aww, Chase, the current peanut, looks so cuddly!!!
CHASE!! He is gorgeous!! Love seeing him and you must have had a blast hugging and snuggling that little guy! It is so nice to see you post! What is your instagram name? Mine is Pennpiecemaker (I think, the tablet is upstairs). I’ve been wondering about Mary in Peoria as well. Please let me know if you hear from her! Hugs and hugs dear friend!
I didn’t hear back yet from Mary in Peoria, darn it
So glad you’re back blogging! I loved Wendy’s response. If I wasn’t so exhausted from the week I’d be joining her whooping and hollering! And yes, that little Chase is quite photogenic! Roseanne, you looked just lovely holding him. Have a great weekend, Mary.

And little Chase is adorbs.
Oh My Life Just Got Better! We have missed seeing your posts, your lists, your projects, your words and your littles. Chase is the highlight of your life (we can tell by your happy smile) and justifiably so. I’m not ashamed to say I’m jealous of you having snuggle time. I won’t promise not to share so many QALs but maybe if I’m busy reading your blog I won’t be surfing the net as much? 😁
There are a few things more important than sewing (gasp)! Chase is soooo adorable! 🙂
Oh, Thank You, Thank You, Thank you!!! I miss you, too. It hasn’t been the same without you Such wonderful photos of everyone and the baby! Isn’t he a dolll. He WAS small when he was born. I have no fear he will grow fast. You and Sue will enjoy every minute with him you can get. And we will love him virtually as we have the other three. So, I look forward to the next blog post on Tuesday, if not before. Have you gotten your vaccinations yet?
