  1. Your great-nephew looks so huggable. Great idea to share your favorites. I like pumpkin in almost all forms. The pumpkin drinks are ok as long as I can drastically scale back the sugar. Otherwise they are waaay too sweet for me. Congratulations on your new machine. It is certainly something to celebrate. Long commutes can be worse deregulation stress relievers. So much time to unwind and prepare your thoughts for home.

  2. No matter what is going on in my day that is not so great I know reading your posts can brighten my thoughts. Thank you. When I drive I always listen to audio books. Makes the time go faster and I don’t feel so alone. Sometimes when I get where I’m going I have to wait for a good spot in the book to get out of the car. 🙂

Hi Peggy! I have always been meaning to try audiobooks – just haven’t gotten around to it. I can see how you would have to get to a good spot before turning the book off! Just like getting to the end of a chapter. I am going to come down to Florida some time to meet you in person and give you a big ‘ole {{hug}}. You always brighten my day! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. How wonderful to have a new sewing machine and table! And a little person to sew for, too. I bet you have lots of fun ideas for things to make for Dominic! I love anything pumpkin, too, except for the coffee. Somehow that doesn’t seem like the right combination! Good for you to figure out to enjoy your commute!

      Hi Diann,
The list for sewing for Dominic is long already and he’s only five weeks old! It seems that I look through the lens of “will Dominic like this” now. HAHA ~smile~ Roseanne

  5. What a sweet little bundle to cradle!
How wonderful that you have embraced your commute time. My daughter had such a drive and started to enjoy it when she discovered audiobooks.
I too love that laser beam feature on your machine!

      Hi Jocelyn,
Well, it’s either embrace the commute or complain about it – and who wants to listen to that?! So you find the silver lining – the job is well worth it. I haven’t tried audiobooks yet but I need to! ~smile~ Roseanne

I love the laser light idea! That would be so useful for the stuff I’m piecing right now. lol.

      Hi Sally,
I have been surprised at how much I have been using it. Anytime I have to do some straight stitching in a longer length it comes in handy to line up the end of the fabric with the light. It was really easy to install too. ~smile~ Roseanne
