I Love Thursday #200 Beaucoup Benedictions
This is the 200th post of things we love for the week. Two-hundred posts in just amazing, isn’t it?!! We post each Thursday (Wednesday this week because of the Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange tomorrow) along with LeeAnna from Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out as you will surely find something to inspire you. “From the fullness of His grace, we have all received one blessing after another.” John 1:16

Be Thankful! Isn’t this just the absolute perfect message for these weekly posts?! And how apropos for our 200th post. I usually have at least four loves for the week so that means a minimum of 800 likes. Add that to our friends who post over on LeeAnn’s blog – about 15 to 20 friends . . . that’s 12,000 positive events we’ve noted. WOW! I’d say we r.o.c.k. as a positive group, eh?!

Love #2
Barn owls! Barn owls have been noted to be on the increase in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. I am thrilled to hear that. The barn owl is hard to track as they are completely nocturnal and don’t toot their own horn often by hooting. Recently, an injured owlet was rescued and returned to the wild. That is when this nest was discovered in an old hollowed out tree. Interestedly enough, the barn owl is the most widespread of all bird species. They are found almost everywhere except for the polar and desert regions – I can’t say that I blame it for skipping either one.

Love #3
Mr. Rogers! Isn’t this just a precious picture? It just makes me smile – the trust and love in that child’s face is just beyond measure. What a good man Mr. Rogers must have been. Children know and are drawn to goodness and love. It sure makes me want to see the movie about him starring Tom Hanks.

Love #4
Our little elves were just too darn busy to sit still for a photo op. One more try, and Dominic finally decided to smile for the camera. Andrea makes these composite photos often and I just love this one of our dynamic duo. Addison’s first and second Christmas with her brother.
All four littles hit the pavement to wait for Santa’s arrival after the tree lighting. Santa was a half hour late – good thing everyone was bundled up! Look what fits in a Keurig box – two of our favorite littles. Another version of babies in a box. Addison got to have a girl’s day out with momma at a local ceramic painting shop. She picked a snowman to paint. Chase fell asleep next to his brother during family movie night. AWWW! And finally, Chase, complete with a Santa beard, says have a happy Thursday! ~smile~

Congrats on 200 posts! The owls look so interesting! It’s nice to know their number is increasing. I miss Mr. Rogers. He was so calming. My kids enjoyed him. Love that Christmas pic of the kids. So cute!!
Woohoo on 200 posts. Oh all the photos of Addison, Dominic and Chase…like herding cats I am sure. I agree children seem to be drawn to kind people….which is weird cause kids always seem to gravitate to me and want to talk to me, and I don’t feel like I give off that kind of vibe. LOL I get up every day and remember to be grateful.
Congratulations on making so many smiles over the course of the years. With the help of those littles, I don’t see how anyone can leave without a smile. Saw he movie of Mr. Rogers with Tom Hanks. It was very good. TH is so likeable! Barn owls are so wonderful. I love their faces and those bright eyes shining out of the white feathers. Yes, I’m happy to be up and about every morning. Have a wonderful weekend.
I love barn owls and the xmas photo of the littles is adorable
200! The time just flies by. I look forward to hearing from all you every week. 🙂 We love listening to the owls around here. Those elf costumes are too cute!
Such cute pictures…love the elves! And the composite one sure makes me realize how much they have grown in so little time! They just make my heart smile every time I see them all together, little Chase with the beard is a doll! As for the Mr. Rogers movie, Tom Hanks always is fabulous, even though I found the story a bit slow…very worth seeing!
800 loves in 200 posts is definitely noteworthy Roseanne. Love the photos of the littles but had to chuckle over the babes in a box and Chase’s beard especially! ⛄️
Great pictures of the littles!!!
Love the Santa beard!
800 loves! 200 posts! Congratulations on sharing a heart filled with gratitude. Love the barn owls and elves!
Those littles always make me smile! Love the pic of Addison and Dominic in the Keurig box!! So sweet!
Owls are just plain cool. One of my favorite memories/photos is that of owl wings in the snow.- it had apparently swooped down and captured a midnight snack, leaving just a whisper of wing marks on the snow. Amazing. Those littles make me grin each time I see them! Happy 200th post!
You always have wonderful ‘loves’ but the littles are the best!
My favourite photo is Chase with his Santa beard! I need to see that movie too! I’ve read a little bit about Fred Rogers, and he truly was a wonderful person.
