I Love Thursday #198 Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our US family and friends! This is the 198th post of things we love for the week. We post each Thursday along with LeeAnna from Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out as you will surely find something to inspire you. “From the fullness of His grace, we have all received one blessing after another.” John 1:16

Only YOU are you!! We all have unique abilities and even interests for that matter. I’m sure you have heard someone sing and thought to yourself, they have a natural talent for that. When you hear them sing, you instantly know the voice like Adele or Bing Crosby, for example. You ARE the only one on earth who can use your abilities and take them to the next level. We aren’t in competition against anyone else because they don’t have our exact skill set. Cool thought isn’t it? What ability do you have that is unique to you? Or that you have been able to expand and use it to your best?

Milwaukee Bucks in Six! The amazing win of Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Bucks last July was a true celebration. Since it had been 50 – FIFTY – years since the last championship season, you can see that only one or two fans were present outside for the final bell. Parades ensued, and I have to admit that the virus rose to scary levels. Was the celebration victory worth the end result? Only those that chose to partake can answer that question. Unlike the last administration, the championship team was invited to the White House. All I see are lots of unmasked, happy men. I can’t help but wonder if any of them have lied about their vax (a new word added to the dictionary recently!) status, like an unmentioned Wisconsin quarterback?!

Warrior Strength! This message was in the hallway of our middle school recently. It reads, “In the end, a spartan’s true strength is the warrior next to him. Thank you, Dr. Mollet & Mr. Kim.” In my morning walk, I read it and kept going for a few steps. Then the message sunk in and I retraced my steps to take a photo. There are 372 shields below the message, thanking the two principals of the school for their support. Isn’t that just the best message?!! And what deep and thought-provoking content!

Happy Happy Thanksgiving . . . from our littles to you. November 2017 held Dominic as Gamma’s little turkey. He was only two months old and momma made us a turkey picture with his little footprints. The following Thanksgiving, Auntie Sue held a chill Dominic and enjoyed Elmo on her phone.

By November 2019, Addison had joined our crew at ten months old. And just last year, we enjoyed baby Colt eating puffs with Addison and counting eyes on Dominic. This year . . . well, you’ll have to wait for those photos. We hope you enjoy the holiday with your family and friends that you hold dear. May the day be filled with thankfulness. {{Hugs}}
