I Love Thursday #175 Muchas Bendiciones
This is the 175th post of things we love for the week. We post each week along with LeeAnna from Not Afraid of Color and several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
A little side note – there is voting ongoing for the panel challenge that I entered with our Paris Revisited panel finish. You will find all 46 entries and the creative finishes shared, not to mention that you can vote for whichever one is your favorite, on the Prairie Moon Quilts website.
April Super Moon! I forgot to share this last month but isn’t this a cool photo? It’s the super moon reflecting off of London’s Big Ben clock tower. The credit for this picture goes to AP photographer Alastair Grant.
Memorial bench! With the nice weather this past weekend, the memorial bench for my brother-in-law was placed at the fifth hole at the local golf club. Many, many hours were spent on that golf course by both my sister and her husband. It’s quite fitting to have a bench in his honor there.
Statue heroes! Our city sponsored various dog statues positioned throughout the downtown area a couple years ago. One is entitled “Everyone’s Hero” in his mask and superhero cape. The other pup statue is entitled “Fusion” and it definitely reminds me of a quilt.
Playing house and with the water table was on the docket for the three musketeers one day last week. Colt spent five minutes with Auntie Sue playing the Elmo counting game. He’s doing well! Auntie Sue is a baby stealer – she took Chase away from Auntie Rose and she looked quite proud of herself, too, didn’t she?! Movie night in mommy and daddy’s bed is a fun time. The two boys look like they didn’t make it to the end of the movie!
Our sweet girl wasn’t feeling so great last weekend. She even took a nap in the afternoon which is a rare sight. Playing in the toy box is another fun time now that Addi is feeling better. Poor Charlie Brown took another header – that seems to be his fate.
Happy Mother’s Day to each of you, if applicable. We will be celebrating with Sue’s Mom (photo from 2018 with Roseanne, Jeanette, and Sue), sister, Andrea, Nicole, and all our littles. While not actually mothers, we feel the love every day.
