I Love Thursday #173 Blessings Plenteous
This is the 173rd post of things we love for the week. We post each week along with LeeAnna from Not Afraid of Color and several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Find someone! This meme just made me smile and smile. I’m a big huge dog fan, and I couldn’t help but enjoy him lusting after this plate of pasta. I love dogs!
One more dog meme! I could get annoyed by traffic often but I find I am much more relaxed about everything the older I get. I’d like to think I’m in a good place, spiritually speaking, so I can wish blessings for all.
Dove and olive branch. I saved this photo of this lovely brooch that Lady Gaga wore at the inauguration back in January. It seems quite symbolic as a metaphor for peace and a gesture for goodwill.
Jigsaw puzzles! Our new passion, thanks to fellow quilt blogger, Judy, has been jigsaw puzzles. We started this 500-piece puzzle on Easter Sunday afternoon, and had it finished by Thursday. We’ve moved on to a 1000-piece that seems to be kicking our collective butts right now. It has a ton of flower buds that you would think would be easy . . . but they’re not so much. Anyway, we are enjoying doing these together although it has been a diversion from sewing/quilting.
Sweet Colty got to spend the day at the zoo with mommy and daddy and he enjoyed every moment of it. He saw giraffes and many other different animals. The three musketeers posed for a nice photo with all in their jammies.
Chase enjoys some tummy time and his sister keeps him company. Dominic enjoys the tummy time routine as well. He’s a good big brother! Finally, Auntie Sue has room for Chase, Addison, and her crew . . . while Dominic and Auntie Rose enjoy a book. We love our littles!
