I Love Thursday #157 Prolific Blessings

This is the 157th post of things we love for the week.  We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color.  Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out.  You will surely find something to inspire you. Later today we’ll be sharing another post and linky party for Thank Goodness It’s Finished Friday. Come on back and check it out!

Thursday

Love #1

Fall beauty! Who ever gets tired of seeing all of the Fall glorious colors? Not me! This is our friends’ yard with the trees nicely balanced by the blue clear-as-a-bell sky. Wow. Spectacular, isn’t it? That’s also a LOT of leaves to rake and that’s only part of their yard.

Love #2

Local Zoo light show! Our local Zoo has really stepped up their game this year. Since visitors have been limited but the cost of caring for and feeding the animals hasn’t changed, they are offering a Halloween light show. There is awesome social distancing – just your own peeps in your car, and masks not necessary once you’ve paid the $5/adult admission fee. Since it gets dark around these parts before 6 p.m., there is plenty of time to catch the show even during the week. I suspect they will do something similar for the next holiday.

Love #3

Sweet little Colt looks adorable in his Toy Story Woody hat, doesn’t he?! The three musketeers are using a Toy Story theme for Halloween this year but more on that next week! Those blue eyes! ♥ ♥

Love #4

Explaining more about the picture above featuring Colty’s pretty blue eyes starts with this innocent picture of the two cousins. Dominic wanted to play “Toy Story” with Colt. In order to do so, one must wear a hat apparently. As the second photo relates, a hat is necessary but NOT the red hat. Dominic must wear the red hat. That’s why Colt looks a bit confused – a hat is required but the color matters?! Next up for our dynamic duo is playing in Gamma’s empty cupboards in her basement. Lots and lots of giggling ensued along with a bit of hide and seek, perhaps. Or maybe it was peek-a-boo which is a bit more seasonal.

The next fun project for the week was the riding of the electric motorcycle! Addison, of course, has no fear. Put me on it, put me on it – rev, rev. How fast does it go??! Alas, the girl couldn’t ride it without her helmet – she’s a rule follower. Never fear, Dominic our brave boy gave it a short spin without his helmet, smiling the whole time. Next up – and too darn cute for words – is Addison practicing for New Year’s Eve. Two hats and horn – she’s all set! Finally, our sweet boy and girl can mellow out together watching TV. Sometimes a girl just needs to lean on her brother during the show – it’s good to know she always can.

Don’t you love those rare fall days the leaves are so bright, and the sun makes them almost sparkle. Great pics of the littles. The cowboy hats are awesome. Such fun times with the littles as always.

  4. Our zoo does Zoo Lights every year. So fun! Fall is so pretty to capture in pictures. Cute cute kids! I bet they grow every time I see a new picture of them!

Apparently there are people who watch You T\tube videos to de-stress. I just love seeing the pictures of your littles. The bring smiles to my face every time. Any BTW your neighbors trees are HUGE and probably you get a little fall out from them, too! I like the light show at the zoo. Wonder if the animals come out to see the cars.

  6. The trees are beautiful Roseanne and the Zoo Ride looks like fun. The little as are so adorable but those blue eyes captivate me!

  7. That pic of Colt in the Woody hat is one of the most adorable baby pics ever! I wish I could do the driving light tour that your zoo has going. It is super cool!

  8. Those are gorgeous trees, Roseanne! I never get tired of those sights either. Cute pictures of your littles! I’m pretty sure Dominic is training Colt in the ways of Big Cousin/Little Cousin. Those are important things to learn! 👍

Hello Roseanne, I enjoy all of your pictures of everything that you share and love! This is a beautiful time of year and nature is amazing! As are the little ones! They are growing up so quickly. But such fun to see their adventures! What a fun and lovely way for the Zoo to keep up the funds for the animals! Have a fabulous day!

I love the idea of dressing up as Toy Story! And so funny about the red hat- kids are very particular sometimes!

  13. So wonderful to have the three Littles put a smile or not just your and Sue’s faces but all of us readers too! Aren’t the fall colours spectacular? Here we just run over the leaves with a mower which is actually great food for the lawn and no raking needed!

  14. Jocelyn Thurston says:

The highlight of these Thursday posts is definitely seeing those sweet little kids. And little Colt growing so fast joining in on the fun.
I guess I should mention how neat the light show your zoo is hosting…what a great idea.

    zoo lights and cowboybabies!

  17. Kathleen McCormick says:

The little ones are just too adorable. Beautiful fall trees are always so welcome. I love the confusion over the hat, the in and out of the cupboards and that bike! There’s a lot of wide open space there, which is so awesome. These kids are lucky, but the adults surrounding them with love are luckier!

  18. karenfae says:

what a beautiful fall – we are not getting much color here!! As Wendy says those cute littles have a lot of aunties watching them grow up

Whoa! Cuteness overload! Now this is the treat I needed going into Halloween…so dang cute!!! Thank you! “piecefulwendy” made me think…yep…that’s one heck of a lot of “aunties” watching them grow! LOL Never thought of it that way…

  22. These posts are so fun – do the littles have any idea how many “aunties” they have watching them grow?? They are just too cute!
