I Love Thursday #110 Abundant Blessings

This is the 110th post of things we love for the week.  We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color.  Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out.  You will surely find something to inspire you.

Thursday

Love #1

Baby kicking??!!  Isn’t this just the sweetest picture, especially when you know the back story?  This is Andrea (Dominic and Addison’s mom) and Nicole (soon-to-be mom).  Nicole was asking Andrea if what she was feeling is the baby kicking?  Aww, what a great resource Anj is for Nic.  We can’t wait for another baby to spoil and love.  Mid-March sounds like the perfect time to let the loving and spoiling begin.

Love #2

Speaking of a new baby . . . they had a reveal party and found out . . . it’s a boy.  Nicole pitched the ball to William – that looks like a pretty darn good swing to me.

Its a boy

Love #3

Cardinals!  I happened upon this picture of different colors of cardinals.  I would just adore seeing any of these different colored birds.  Have any of you found some of these in your neighborhood?  Look at that bright pink one!

Love #4

Poster on a locker.  I was walking down the hall to the office in school last week and saw this poster on one of the student’s locker.  Okay.  It did make me crack up, but on the other hand, it’s a little sad.  I think just about anyone could get behind this candidate.

Love #5

Addison has yet to learn that when you leave the door open . . . you never know who might crawl in and close it!  Brusha, brusha is how we begin our day – it’s important to have good teeth cleaning habits.  Two naughty chairs for two adorable kids who sometimes need to take a little break in the hallway.  Momma is so funny, making noises at us.  It makes us laugh and laugh!  Finally, I think Dominic is going to be a heartbreaker in the future.  He already gets whatever he wants with that sweet smile from two of his Aunties.

So much to love in this post, starting with the gender reveal. Of course, we never had these “parties” in our day and age, and I never cease to be amazed at the creative ways to do this. And whoever took this picture timed it perfectly! I miss cardinals so much; I am happy to be in Ohio for Thanksgiving and have already seen several of them. Yippee! “Any functioning adult …” Sign me up – and yes, it is a sad state of affairs. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

I didn’t know that Cardinals came in any other color than red. I’d love to see that blue one. Enjoy the kiddos, I bet Christmas will be really fun with those two.

    As always, such sweet photos!

The kiddies are super cute as always. Oh the locker poster is a sad commentary on our adult leaders in our society, but funny. Oh all those cardinals are so pretty.

  5. Jocelyn Thurston says:

Another great collage of photos of those two little cuties. People are so inventive with these gender reveal parties…amazing. We have cardinals here though I’ve never seen a nest or anything like that pink one. They are a gorgeous bird with an even more beautiful song. I always say why is it some seem to get it all, beauty and talent. Yikes to that poster…

  6. Love the baby pictures. Amen on the 2020 poster.

LOL on the poster. Sad, but true! Crazy cardinal!

Hello Roseanne, How wonderful for you to have another little one on the way to spoil and treasure! It is a boy, the other two littles will be thrilled to teach him all of the things he needs to know. LOL. We love to watch the birds where we live and there is such a variety that changes with each season and every year. With the cardinals, we mainly have blue, yet occasionally we will see red ones. I love your Cardinal Collage and am going to have hubby save it for me! Your poster is hiliarious, yet as you said also very sad. In my opinion, politics is all about money anymore. It really has nothing to do with the people of the United States and what is best for us. I pretty much stay completely out of politics. Of course, I loved all of the pictures you shared of the little ones…who are growing so quickly. Thank you for sharing and have a spectacular day!

Roseanne – you certainly do enjoy the “littles” in your life. I love seeing the pics of D & A … and soon another boy! How fun!
Love the birds – such vibrant colour!
    Happy Quilting! 🙂

  10. What a fun way to do a gender reveal! People are so creative with those events these days. I loved your collage of all the cardinals – aren’t they beautiful! We don’t get cardinals in Colorado, so they are always a treat for me to see in other places where they do live. That poster is hilarious! I can only imagine what kids are thinking about our government these days… Such cute kiddos, Roseanne – always love your photos!

  11. Rochelle Summers says:

Thank you for all the great photos. I love the cardinal collage. I told my granddaughters that because of them I got to see two items on my bucket list…cardinals and lightning bugs! They lived in NJ for 6 years and I got to visit them at the right time of year for both. So thankful for them no matter where they live!

I haven’t seen the babies in a while! They continue to be adorable and now a playmate on the way?? Too much!

LOVE that poster. Smart kid. He made his point. Addison looks just so sweet.

  14. I just realized it’s Thursday. 🙂 Oops. Anyway — you have some great likes today. Those two littles are so cute!

yea to students who care about our country! They’re gonna be voting soon… things might just change when they step up. Love the first pic’s gesture and meaning. The gentle connection between two women. That reveal is so cool.

  16. Denise says:

I love the reveal, such a clever idea. I had to laugh at #4 as Washington is really lacking of functioning adults. Oh heck, I love them all today.

  17. sewswift says:

Babies are so fun to spoil and I think you aunties do a good job of it. Love the bat swing! We don’t have any birds that beautiful in our neighborhood. I get excited if I see a dab of red on one of their chests, because most of the birds are grey, black, or brown. Thanks for sharing your likes!

Great photos of the kids and love that you will have another bambino to spoil soon! We love cardinals too but have the standard red ones! I love that poster in the student’s locker. RIGHT ON and AMEN!
