Happy Happy Thanksgiving Family and Friends

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your peeps. {{Hugs}} a bunch. ~smile~ Roseanne and Sue. We are not gathering this year at Sissy (a.k.a. Gamma’s house) but that’s okay. With a multitude of blessings to count, the actual day for counting them can be any time. Are you here to see our babies?! That I can share, happily.

Thanksgiving Past

Dominic is celebrating like a rockstar today with his fourth turkey day, while Addison is on her second. Baby Colt is enjoying his first Thanksgiving and we know he will love Gamma’s sweet potatoes just like his Daddy.

Next week I’ll have some new photos of the three amigos who will (hopefully) spend Thanksgiving Day together. All of the parents are super good about taking photos – they know how much we want to be there celebrating, praying, and counting our blessings with them.

Weekly Thanksgiving Blessings Photos

One of the last nice days that was warm enough to play outside meant Dominic and Addison headed to the park. Both babies actually kept their hat on AND mitten/gloves. Addison learned that her pretty pink boots make sliding down the slide difficult. Already, she is faced with fashion over practicality at age one. Welcome to the club, sweet girl. The weather has opened up the basement as a play arena, and both D&A love going down there. Dominic thinks he MUST don his hat and it’s not even the appropriate Fire Chief hat.

Addison doesn’t necessarily agree with her brother (shocking) when she is trying to get her Batgirl on. She is quite willing to be the Fire Chief’s assistant as long as he doesn’t run her over (and helps her find her missing slipper). Ahh, the classic laying down on the job for a rest. We have a picture of their Momma and cousin laying on the floor just as cutely. The BIG news for the week is a new Big Boy mattress but Dominic enjoyed a movie and popcorn during the transition. Both Addison and Colty enjoyed the bigger bed, new truck sheets, etc. Finally, Colty got some GG time, kisses from Adios (Auntie Rose), and the ever classic babies in a box with babies.

Just the cutest little turkey there. I liked your comment about women facing fashion choices over practicality. So true. A lovely roundup of photos for us all to enjoy. So much to be thankful for as always.

  8. The littles never fail to put a smile on my face. 🙂 I love the smooshy kiss shot of you and Colton. Baby cheeks (all four!) are the best. And well, yes, pink fancy shiny boots are MUCH more important to wear than appropriate (read clunky, ugly, sensible) ones. Lots to be grateful for, always. Happy Thanksgiving.
