First Day of Pre-School

Today is someone’s first day of pre-school!  A sweet little someone who turned three just last week gets to attend pre-school two days a week starting today.  He’ll learn the days of the week, socialize and meet new friends, and learn to follow directions from someone other than mom, dad, gamma, and aunties.

Pre-School Supplies

What kind of supplies does he need to bring in with him today?

Pre-school supplies

Mom and Dad picked up these items as soon as the school sent the list.  Darn, we couldn’t even help one bit.  Then, a “wish list” was also sent and perhaps we can help with these items.

Well, well, well . . . yes, we can help with extra wish list items!

Pre-School Backpack

Way back when Dominic picked out his own backpack – a sweet Elmo backpack.

Then, he turned three and Gamma thought he needed a different backpack.  Perhaps a little Toy Story with Buzz and Woodie will lend a calming, listening ear.  But I didn’t get a picture of that, darn it!  We are all wondering how Dominic will like going to pre-school today.  What will Addison think about her partner in crime leaving her for a bit this morning?  I hope it’s the best experience EVER.

How exciting! I remember a day that SGirl was leader and I got to bring snacks and Diva along. Diva thought she got to do all the things SGirl did as leader. In a video you can see them both struggling to control the American Flag when SGirl says “Teacher, we have a problem here!” I was relived she didn’t whack Diva over the head with the stick! LOL

Hello Roseanne, I have to ask…Did anyone cry? I do not mean kiddo’s either. I know that when my little one went off to preschool a whole bunch of her aunties and a few of her uncles shed a few tears, some for happiness and some for the sadness of her growing up. I agree with piecefulwendy on her statement of how many aunties these kiddo’s have in blogland. LOL. We all get such enjoyment with all that you share about each of them! So thank you for sharing this great day of a new adventure in his life with us. Now we are all waiting to hear what his thoughts are on his day!!! So please do tell! Have a fantastic day!

What a special occasion! First day of school. Addie is going to be trying to catch up with him forever! I’m sure Mom can make this time special for her too. And Dominic will love having new things to tell his sister.

  5. Awww, such a cute big boy!! Have fun in preschool!!

  6. Such an exciting time! D is going to love preschool! Many fun experiences ahead for him – and his aunties will get to hear all about it, I bet.

I hope he loves it and just think of all the new friends! My oldest grandson started 4th grade yesterday, the youngest starts 2nd grade on Thursday, both are at new schools.

  9. On the one hand, I want to say “slow the time boat down” – on the other, “Have fun!” Is Dominic aware of how many “aunts” he has out here in blogland? 😀

There he goes…off into the “all grown up” yonder…sigh…what milestone! All the best Dominic!
