ABC Wall Hanging – OMG February Goal Met
At the beginning of February we elected the ABC wall hanging to be the focus of our OMG (one monthly goal). I am happy to report that our goal as stated below has been met:
- Our Elm Street Quilts February OMG goal is to finish the quilt top for this last ABC wall hanging.

ABC Wall Hanging Quilt Top Finished
Woot woot! I love meeting goals of any sort, but especially those that serve to finish off an old UFO. This will be mentioned one more time when we have it all quilted and it gets to be checked off for our PHD (projects half done) list with Gail.
This has been a longggggg time resident of our design wall. I think the first mention of it was back on April 19th. Wow! That is sad, as I finished the hand appliquéing right around that time. I can see the few letters missing in this picture below.
ABC Wall Hangings in Process:
Sue has started working on hand quilting this with a sharp looking orange thread. This wall hanging just makes me happy. Looking at all the different scraps of fabrics and remembering the projects they originated from bring a smile to my face. You will find its mate listed in our Etsy shop, and I suspect this one will join it before the end of the first quarter.

I love your ABC quilt!! I have made two and now my tradition is that whenever the next generation(niece, nephew, or my own children-which hasn’t started yet(and that’s fine!)) starts their family, I make an alphabet quilt for the family.
