Fab Scrap! Jen at Dizzy Quilter shared a link to Fab Scrap in her post recently. Sticking with my recent theme of highlighting companies who are doing something about recycling, I have to share this one. Fab Scrap is the ultimate cool website for sewers and quilters by providing a home to any and all scraps from the garment industry. This totally looks like field trip worthy to me. What do you think? Volunteer for 3 hours and leave with 5# of fabrics. So, so, sew – when do we check this out?!!

Of course, I saved the bestest for last. Here’s a shot of Dominic enjoying his little sister, albeit briefly. The next few shots that haven’t been shared reflected him enjoying all the hanging toys with his ever present orange ring. Addison had just returned home after visiting her two doting aunts for some study time with her mom. Apparently, Dominic missed her and was happy to have her back home.

There they are! One of the best reasons for making it to the end of the week…forget Valentine’s Day, those two steal hearts…they look so sweet together!
What a cute mug rug. That recycling is pretty cool! I don’t produce much, but that would be nice to have available for the regular Joe.

Great post, Roseanne. I’ve read the garment industry is one of the worst culprits for excess wastage. So that sounds like a great idea. If only I lived closer. Beautiful boy with a beautific smile at his baby sister.
Love these Thursday posts and wish there were more of the littles. Your email had the “Read more” line this time.. Love looking at the mug rugs but never get around to making one..Hmm. Maybe I should cut out a few for when I need a small project to fill my time….mindless sewing or something. Happy Valentine’s Day.

How cool is that fabric recycle place? It’s just a short train ride from me so come on over and we will hop the metro north train to the city! And I just adore that Dominic carries that orange ring everywhere! Happy Valentines day you sweet ladies!
Fab scrap sounds great! It would be fun to volunteer, but I would not want, do not want, would refuse to take 5# of scrap … I’ve even quit getting scraps from friends and I no longer dive into garbage bins at sewing events … 🙂 Great to see the wonderful pic of Dominic and Addison! Love it!
