I Love Thursday #129 – Many Blessings
This is the 129th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Cheesy bundt bread! This whole stay-at-home order makes me want to bake and bake and bake. In one of the Pinterest tempting emails that I receive daily, this recipe was shared. A savory recipe – not the usual sweet one for a bundt pan.
We sliced it and ate it with some marinara sauce. Yum! It was best served nice and warm and fresh out of the oven. I did modify the recipe slightly in that I used shredded cheese instead of grated.
Love #2
Fat Quarter! I was recently a winner of a fat quarter fabric from Melva in her Pieces From the Past sew-along. She sent this gorgeous fat quarter along with a sweet message. She purposely chose a non-1930s print because we lean toward a more modern vibe. Isn’t that sweet of her?!
Love #3
Sweet pea Colt and his Auntie Sue enjoy a little bit of sunshine and light. We can’t wait for him to visit us again . . .
Love #4
Dominic says this is the BEST way to watch a plane fly by. Lay on your back on the sidewalk and watch it until it’s out of sight. He also says you must wait patiently while momma is getting the chalk out of the package for sidewalk drawing. T-ball pales in comparison to sidewalk chalk!
Momma says, whoever invented painting with water is a genius! Apparently, a good hour is spent by Dominic using the special paintbrush filled with water. Addison wants to paint as well, although kissing the painting mat isn’t quite how we go about it. Auntie Rose had to quickly find an Elmo video before the sweet littles had to head home. Finally, Addison had plenty of time to enjoy one of her favorite books with Auntie Sue. ♥ ♥ ♥
Join us each Tuesday for our hosted linky party called To-Do Tuesday. Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link above or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
I’m with Dominic on how to watch an airplane. It’s much easier than falling over backwards and landing on your head! The bread looks delicious, and as far as I’m concerned, shredded cheese IS grated cheese. =)
Roseanne – you’re not the only one that has been inspired to bake during this time – when my husband goes to the store, he cannot find bread flour! Lovely post!
The cheesy bundt cake looks yummy. Sidewalk chalk has been pretty popular here too, we see a lot of evidence on the sidewalks when we go out for our daily walks.
Everyone is wanting to bake it seems, including me. I dunno! I do have a Bundt pan, might have to look up a recipe for this. Now I’m hungry, and I realize wait, I forgot to eat lunch… Cute pics of the littles as always. 🙂
Cheese bread looks wonderful! Those kiddos are just too cute.
That cheesy bread looks delicious!
Dominic is growing SOOOO fast! And so is Addison!! It won’t be long before Colt catches up!
Just a question … if the bread is best fresh out of the oven – what do you do with the rest of it? Or did you eat it all at one sitting? 🙂 (that’s a cheeky grin!)

You had to mention bread…thank goodness you had all the pictures of the little ones after to distract me…tell Dominic the neighbor did not think it was kosher for me to lie on my back on the sidewalk…he was right though, it is the best way! The neighbor will just have to get used to me…
Cheezy bundt bread should be your go-to treat to bring to your next quilter’s retreat – after COVID stuff subsides of course.
And what fun to receive a fabric treat in the snail mail during these trying times!
So I’m not the only one wanting to bake and bake. Is that a survival thing kicking in I wonder. What a beautiful baby boy…just like the cousins. Painting with water is magical.
Oh! Cheesy bread is the perfect comfort food for these crazy days! Unfortunately marinara is out of the question for me; DH is allergic to onions and garlic. Marina sauce is just not right without them! So enjoy seeing your littles! I’m glad you get to see them and share with all of us! 😄Carol
That bread looks so wonderful! I’ve ordered some flour and I’m going to go crazy baking when it finally gets here. Thanks for sharing sweet photos! They make us all happy and thankful! Hugs!
Hello Roseanne, Once upon a time, I made a cheese bread in my bread maker. I do not remember any more than that and I no longer have the bread maker. I have gone back to doing the bread making the old fashioned way. Which all this talk of breads just makes us all hungry it seems! LOL. It is wonderful knowing that you and Sue are getting to spend time with the newest adorable addition to the family and also that you are also still getting time with the other two cute and growing kiddos. It is fun to see the new and old items that they are exploring and learning. Great job on winning the Fat Quarter! I wish you the best and a continued fun time while we go through this all together! Have a fabulous day!
That bread looks and sounds delicious, Roseanne! Sidewalk chalk is so much fun! We’ve been seeing chalk art in lots of places around our neighborhood when we go for a walk each day. It always makes me smile! How’s work going? Hope all the kids and families are hanging in there!
yum to cheese and bread in every form! Lucky girl to win fabric, but as they say, ya gotta play to win! The teensy baby is so sweet, a little baby bird.
the bread looks wonderful – good idea on the bundt pan for something different
You made me so hungry with your cheesy bread photos that I had to make a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast!!! 😀 The kids are getting so big! Where does the time go? Are you all doing okay? Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
I was wondering how many people are trying new recipes. I made a beer bread with cheese and garlic that is awesome. Colt is so sweet. I agree with Dominick, laying on the ground and looking up is an awesome way to watch planes, clouds, birds. Addison is as adorable as always. Great likes.
Great seeing more pic’s of the little’s having fun. Yummy looking bread! We tried Irish Soda bread for the first time on St. Patrick’s day while at my brothers. My SIL put dates in it, we liked it:)
Now I am hungry!!! that cheesy bread looks so awesome. Anyway, I love Thursdays because I get to share in your loves!
That bread looks tasty! I think Dominic might have a strong creative side with all his chalk painting and water painting. Addison clearly has a taste for it as well – haha! Fun post!
Pete would love that bread— I may have to be a nice wifey and make some 🙂 As always the kiddos look great and well loved ♥♥
Ya got me at the bread! It looks mighty tasty!
Congrats on winning that special fat quarter! 🙂
Yum! That cheesy Bundt bread looks awesome. I was a little hungry before I read your post. Now I’m ravenous!!! Have a great day, Mary.
